Was at SXSW last few days and there were some really good point about how to work with ai and it’s the complete opposite of this. One point by neuroscientist was that we can’t rely on ai for everything because our brains will begin to atrophy and we won’t be able to get a lot of those things back ever

My friend works at a top US tech company They've recently told their employees to go "all in" on AI Every email, memo, presentation - you have to use AI to make it, and is expected to be done ~90% faster than before The quality of work from everyone is way worse but is getting praised because it's "more productive" Which he thinks will be used to justify layoffs in the future This is the reality for most companies "going all in on AI"

I have my openclaw bot set up to apply for jobs I’m way overqualified for. All day. Everyday. It’s finding jobs that are 80-100k salary. Entry level developer, junior system admin, etc. I’ve been hired at 4 jobs so far. I’m now making 350k a year with 4 jobs and have 4 separate instance of openclaw doing the jobs for me. It codes, analyzes data, responds to emails, teams messages, and if anything urgent ever happens, my bots message me on discord. 4 jobs, 4 401ks, and about 5 hours of work a week. AI isn’t taking your job but people like me who know how to use AI are.

Yesterday, white supremacist Jake Lang organized a protest outside Gracie Mansion rooted in bigotry and racism. Such hate has no place in New York City. It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are. What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are. I want to thank the brave men and women of the NYPD who acted quickly to keep New Yorkers safe. Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day. My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner.

HERO: NYPD Chief Aaron Edwards jumps barricades outside Gracie Mansion after an IED is thrown into an anti-Islam protest, tackling a terror suspect. Police say he charged in as another device was about to be hurled, stopping the attack as he ran straight into danger. @dachshundwizard Parents threw out most of my stuff while I was in boot camp. They decided to rent out my room so they only kept some of my personal belonging they thought I would want and my clothes. Everything else thrown out 😭😭

Something might not have happened there if he wasn’t present but those kids that were radicalized would have probably done something somewhere else regardless and that is still a national security issue that should be addressed

It’s not ok that’s the point though. If it wasn’t about the views he would put on a uniform and go fight terrorism at their home bases to prevent it from spreading into the US. If he is so against terrorism then why is it that all his energy goes towards mocking a religion and just filming it to make sure he catches the anger towards him instead of maybe working in politics to actually make changes through legislation? It’s all rage baiting for financial gain or relevance

How about we make a rule that you can’t be “America first” if you haven’t even served the military? People with the loudest voice about how to run America but never even served or riding the coattails of family members that have served.
