Joe Biden forgiving just enough student debt to convince his base that the Democrats are fighting for them and not enough to actually solve the problem is the most Democratic Party thing he could have done.

If Biden can cancel $10k, he can cancel it all. Easy.

Student debt is a $1.9T crisis. Reducing it to $1.7T isn’t solving the crisis. That’s what canceling $10,000 of student debt does.

When people say “degrees are optional,” what they’re really saying is that only rich kids should have the opportunity to train to develop much needed & highly compensated skills. I happen to think being a doctor/nurse/teacher/engineer should be based on ability. Not income.

Stop playing politics with people’s pockets. Cancel ALL student debt. $10k is an arbitrary number.
