The P4 presidents are too myopic to realize it, but Miami, High Point, VCU and SLU beating their teams is what makes March Madness the greatest sporting event in the world … and in turn, puts $ in their pockets.

@MaacTheft Pretty sure I can be objective as a fan of a rival. McNamara absolutely did the right thing and coached a great game. Furthermore, those players were warriors. Siena fans should be proud today. Job well done.

Some people that haven't been following Siena wondering why they only played 5 players.
Starting forward Antonio Chandler was ruled ineligible with 2 games left in the regular season. They were already without Tasman Goodrick, one of their starting bigs, for the year.

McNeese State is the new Vermont. They always get a 12 or 13 seed and everybody is like "this team is sooooo dangerous!" And then they get quickly cropdusted in the first round and do nothing of substance

You can’t criticize somebody for not making Sweet 16’s at a program where they’re not consistently expected to get protected seeds.

So…. they don’t get any protected seeds and don’t make any Sweet 16’s, but consistently wear home whites and have won tournament games three times in five years.
For a small school of 2000 undergrads in a mid-major league. Not seeing the issue here
