🚨Fred physically assaulted by a gang of Antifa.🚨 🚨Young Bob Arrested!!🚨 As we were leaving the UKIP March for Jesus protest, we were attacked by several individuals linked to Antifa, with Fred stepping in to help protect me. The police then escorted me over to the UKIP side, but their security removed me from that area, leaving me outside the section. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a right-wing political party kicked me out of the police kettle, and once I was removed by security, I was then confronted again by individuals linked to Antifa. I may disagree with UKIP, but we’re still on the same side politically.

A Study in Intolerance... The details of particular policies are not important here. What we are seeing, here and on other "protests" is endemic intolerance. In a liberal society, we accept that there are different points of view. We can debate and have "counter demonstrations" etc., but each should be allowed to express their opinions peacefully. But what we are witnessing with the left and various woke mobs is increasing intolerance. This is not the norm (in general) for the British tradition over the last hundred years. Something new is afoot and has been rising for several years now. My stab at an explanation is two-fold. Firstly, the intolerance from the left flows from their ideology and worldview - it is totalistic and has taken shape in the last twenty years, much like a fundamental religion, thereby breeding fanatics. Secondly, the police have allowed and facilitated this over a period of time, and people learn they can be violent, intolerant and get away with it. Of particular note is that the police increasingly go after the victims, not the perpetrators- this, in turn, encourages more intolerant behaviour as it is seen to be either sanctioned by the police or just ignored.

UPDATE🚨: Police have warned me that there have been credible threats made against me at the protest. After attempting to interview members of the local community, I was told by officers to leave and move to the counter-protest side, as they believed I might disturb the peace and that there had been credible threats made against me.
