@CleGuardPro If baseball loses some fickle fans I’m not going to lose sleep over it.. it’s necessary to make changes for more equality financially. If the players and a certain subset of owners don’t want to do that a lock out is necessary. Tell the dodgers to go find their own league.

@CleGuardPro And I enjoy baseball for myself, if casuals go away temporarily because of it doesn’t bother me. Players should be sweating losing the casuals as much as the owners. Salaries can go down and I think they forget that. Baseball fans will be back whenever the strike is over.

@JoshuaAHsu @Rob_Shenanigans I hear that.. it’s all just spinning their wheels until they get a consistent quality qb. I’m 37 and I’ve never seen it, hard to believe they will ever find the needle in the haystack. Baker was as close as I’ve seen, not consistent though.

@guardsguy @Rob_Shenanigans Been supporting the Browns for a while now. I’m afraid Waddle might be 40 before the Browns seriously compete in the AFC. This franchise is in bad shape and resetting (again) with a new coaching staff? I like the optimism. I’m also more realistic about this current leadership.

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.

I hate to say it, but the lockout has been in the back of my mind this whole tournament. This is by far the most important the World Baseball Classic has ever felt. Viewership, revenue and attendance numbers are steadily climbing year over year. They can’t fuck this momentum up with a lockout next year, can they? Oh, they can. And they will. If there’s one thing we can all agree on as it pertains to this beautiful game that we all love so dearly, it’s that it has a tendency to not be able to get out of its own way. I hope I’m wrong, because MLB has truly positioned itself to soon become the second most popular sport of the four major sports. That is, if they can prevent what feels like the inevitable.

That DOM vs. USA final strike was painful to watch But just look how stupid hard it is to accurately call this a ball at 90 mph after dealing with 101 mph. This is the final, what, 10 feet to the plate? Starts dead center and ends below the zone.
