A lot of people are focused on when Tesla will catch up to Waymo, which is fair given that Waymo has thousands of driverless cars and Tesla only has a handful. But not enough people ask “When will Waymo catch up to Tesla?” 1. When will Waymo be able to take me on a coast to coast drive? 2. When will I be able to buy a Waymo? 3. When will Waymo cross 8 million cars that can run their software? 4. When will Waymo be able to work with no geofencing restrictions? My contrarian take is that it’s a lot easier for Tesla to catch Waymo than for Waymo to catch up to Tesla.

🚨 Possible bad news for #FSD in the Netherlands. Rumors are circulating that the possible RDW approval date has shifted from March 20 to April 10. Sources (incl. someone who spoke to a Tesla NL manager) say tests are going very well and RDW is satisfied overall, but they provided Tesla with a list of improvement points, and gave until April 10 to address them. Others heard directly from RDW that March 20 isn’t feasible. Important; This is NOT official yet. Let’s wait and see what happens on March 20 first. But we should prepare for the possibility of a few more weeks delay. Also, FSD ride-alongs in other countries have been extended to April 30, likely connected to this timeline.
