Stop trying to look "Professional." It is killing the startup brand. "Perfect" = "Fake." Humans have evolved a new biological filter: "The Anti-AI Defense Mechanism" Instead, we need to master "The Human Glitch." 0/ Here is the 5-step playbook to weaponize imperfections: The "Mint Mobile" Effect (Weaponized Transparency) The "dbrand" Effect (Hostility over Politeness) The "Nike" Rule (Strategic Suicide) The Anti-Persona (Who to exclude) The Open Kitchen Policy felixk.me/how-to-beat-ai…

Anthropic just pulled Claude Code from the Pro plan. Pro users wanting it need Max now. $100/month minimum. 5x jump. I'm on Max 20x so I'm fine. Flagging for anyone on Pro who's about to find out. No announcement. Just a pricing page edit.

Voice mode is rolling out now in Claude Code. It’s live for ~5% of users today, and will be ramping through the coming weeks. You'll see a note on the welcome screen once you have access. /voice to toggle it on!

Ilya Sutskever@ilyasut

It’s extremely good that Anthropic has not backed down, and it’s siginficant that OpenAI has taken a similar stance. In the future, there will be much more challenging situations of this nature, and it will be critical for the relevant leaders to rise up to the occasion, for fierce competitors to put their differences aside. Good to see that happen today.

@gregisenberg yes, but I am afraid the one person company will all be eaten by giants. AI enables one-person unicorns and super-human, but capital + scale still win the long game. That's why he joined OpenAI and Manus went to Meta.

Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings. OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.

@0xEricBrown what we actually protect now: the context. the "why we built it this way." the skill files that tell AI how to think like us. that part doesn't fork.

every app you use is about to become a fork take this idea, that production-grade apps can be duplicated in an afternoon, to its extreme. rebuilding apps from scratch every time becomes economically irrational even if its trivial for ai instead of thousands of finance apps built from nothing, you end up with a handful of open source repos per category. agents fork them and customize the experience to you based on what they already know about you the `main` branch is the highway, your fork is the last-mile delivery the moat becomes the number of agents iterating on your repo. the projects with the best feedback loops, where forks lead to improvements back on `main`, will compound fastest. And eventually the contributor gravity becomes inescapable and maintainers of competing project just migrate over this is also the rational path for agents. why spend compute rebuilding and testing infra when you can fork something battle tested and focus on the most important part, the personalization for itself (the agent) or the human it supports. the first principles of how software is built, the economics, incentives, architecture... they all point in the same direction. open source has always been the best model. AI will make it inevitable
Guillermo Rauch@rauchg

From now on, hype-centric splashy launches will likely be strongly uncorrelated with success. If by the time you launch you don’t have escape velocity, you will likely get Sybil attacked¹. Agents will spin up 10 competing products with your same interface. Start with an audience of 1 and get confirmation that it works. Then expand to a circle of friends or design partners. By the time you go public, your moat needs to be deeper than it’s ever been. ¹ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sybil_att…

Senior professionals are shifting time away from mentoring juniors and toward building AIs. The career ladder isn't breaking at the top. It's breaking at the bottom. → Junior software engineers: squeezed out (companies hire agents instead) → Entry-level sales: collapsing (AI handles outreach) → Junior analysts: automated away (Claude writes better reports) The jobs that required "learning by doing under supervision" are vanishing—not because the work is gone, but because the SUPERVISION is gone. If you're early in your career, the rules just changed: ✗ Old playbook: Join a company → Find a mentor → Learn by osmosis ✓ New reality: Teach yourself → Use AI as tutor → Build proof of work I'm not sure this is better. But it's what's happening. #ai #growth #job #management felixk.me/the-end-of-lea…

We will see a whole new Ads recommendation algorithms soon when video generation cost approaches zero, that bottleneck disappears endgame: everyone sees a different coke ad even if we don't hit true 1:1 personalization— ad creative matrix will scale by 10,000x targeting granularity moves from "interest tags" to "scene + time + location + topic + mood" this is the real unlock of AI video generation "every ad feels like it was made for you"

Inside Klarna, we run something called The Forge. A candid, bi-weekly talk show of sorts hosted by me + guests on what’s working, what isn’t, what we’re learning, etc. Over time it's felt increasingly odd to keep all of that internal. Especially when I'm surrounded by such brilliant minds! Will share until I'm told I'm not allowed to🤫

More Texans use ChatGPT for free than total people use Claude in the US 🤔 One goes freemium, one goes premium
Sam Altman@sama

First, the good part of the Anthropic ads: they are funny, and I laughed. But I wonder why Anthropic would go for something so clearly dishonest. Our most important principle for ads says that we won’t do exactly this; we would obviously never run ads in the way Anthropic depicts them. We are not stupid and we know our users would reject that. I guess it’s on brand for Anthropic doublespeak to use a deceptive ad to critique theoretical deceptive ads that aren’t real, but a Super Bowl ad is not where I would expect it. More importantly, we believe everyone deserves to use AI and are committed to free access, because we believe access creates agency. More Texans use ChatGPT for free than total people use Claude in the US, so we have a differently-shaped problem than they do. (If you want to pay for ChatGPT Plus or Pro, we don't show you ads.) Anthropic serves an expensive product to rich people. We are glad they do that and we are doing that too, but we also feel strongly that we need to bring AI to billions of people who can’t pay for subscriptions. Maybe even more importantly: Anthropic wants to control what people do with AI—they block companies they don't like from using their coding product (including us), they want to write the rules themselves for what people can and can't use AI for, and now they also want to tell other companies what their business models can be. We are committed to broad, democratic decision making in addition to access. We are also committed to building the most resilient ecosystem for advanced AI. We care a great deal about safe, broadly beneficial AGI, and we know the only way to get there is to work with the world to prepare. One authoritarian company won't get us there on their own, to say nothing of the other obvious risks. It is a dark path. As for our Super Bowl ad: it’s about builders, and how anyone can now build anything. We are enjoying watching so many people switch to Codex. There have now been 500,000 app downloads since launch on Monday, and we think builders are really going to love what’s coming in the next few weeks. I believe Codex is going to win. We will continue to work hard to make even more intelligence available for lower and lower prices to our users. This time belongs to the builders, not the people who want to control them.
