This is a huge cover up, there is no way in the world that the CoS to the PM would have his phone stolen (presumably with an ability to track location) and is treated in this way. Security & Intel Cttee needs to get involved and bring everyone involved as a witness. Where is the Cabinet Secretariat? This is a massive breach of NatSec. and somehow nonchalantly the Police do nothing! 👇🏽
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

The police response to Morgan McSweeney having his phone stolen in October last year seems bizarre As phones go his was about as sensitive as it gets. The number of every cabinet minister and the prime minister. Messages with all of them. Emails, text messages. You name it If you were a hostile state looking for an insight into what was going on in government at that time/ kompromat it's probably about as good as it gets And yet they treated him in the same way as tens of thousands of people are treated every year when their phones are stolen They gave him a crime reference number. Officers didn't speak to him. They didn't conduct an investigation. They just closed the case Now that's not to say they could have tracked down the thief - he was on an e-bike and wearing a balaclava for one. It's just the lack of any further investigation seems odd, although I'm sure it will be familiar to many of the 70,000+ people who reported their mobiles stolen last year More on our podcast The State of It pod.fo/e/3bdacf

Just spoke to a former senior government advisor. He had his mobile stolen on Whitehall. A full investigation was launched, initially by the Government security team, and then the police. The advisor was senior, but not as senior as McSweeney.

Keir Starmer hosted an Eid party at Number 10. Standing next the Prime Minister is Arooj Shah, leader of Oldham Council. Her brother is a convicted money launderer. Her childhood friend is Irish Imy, convicted heroin dealer and getaway driver for a cop killer. She is regularly seen in his company, including riding through town in the passenger seat of his Bentley. She celebrated her election victory with a convicted kidnapper and torturer.

🛑Let me make this perfectly clear: Political Islam in Britain today is the only political ideology to receive unprecedented, special protections that shelter it from scrutiny. The British government are actively pursuing the criminalization of criticism of Muslims and Islam. If this is not reversed within the next five to ten years, Britain will never be saved.
IDI@idicenter

Criticizing Islam in the UK is now considered “racism.” This isn’t about protecting Muslims, it’s about protecting Islam from scrutiny and reshaping free speech in the process. Read "The UK’s New Blasphemy Code" by @Khaledhzakariah idicenter.org/article/the-uk…

This is a remarkable claim suggesting a serious security breach and no follow on action by police officers.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

Exclusive: Police did not investigate the theft of Morgan McSweeney’s phone because officers were “too busy”, despite the sensitivity of his messages and contacts Sir Keir Starmer’s former chief of staff told the Metropolitan police that his phone was stolen as he returned home from a restaurant in central London on October 20 last year The theft of the work device means that McSweeney’s WhatsApp messages and texts to Lord Mandelson, the former ambassador to the US, cannot be retrieved. It has led critics to question whether the phone was stolen The State of It, the political podcast from The Times and The Sunday Times, can disclose that McSweeney told police the phone was taken by a man wearing a balaclava on an electric bike. The man grabbed it out of his hand as McSweeney was responding to text messages and cycled off. McSweeney gave chase but was unable to keep up Scotland Yard has a record of the incident but did not carry out any formal investigation. Officers did not speak to McSweeney directly because they were too busy. He was given a crime reference number and the case was closed McSweeney reported the theft of his phone to No 10 and the device was shut off remotely. He was given a new device with the same number the next day. The theft of the phone was first reported by The Sun on Sunday thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

I have formally complained to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, over the flag of terrorists and pedophiles being flown from Westminster Abbey. The only flag that should be flown from our national buildings are British ones. Enough is enough with this woke Church of England.

“I’m not saying my wife’s a bad cook but she uses a smoke alarm as a timer.” Unbelievably it was that kind of gag by Bob Monkhouse that led to an episode of BBC’s The Repair Shop being pulled after a TV production employee took offence to an alleged “ sexist” joke. The hardback archives of Monkhouse’s handwritten joke books, dating back to 1960s, were bought in for repair by the comic’s adopted daughter and his old writing partner. In a tribute to the comic, who died in 2003, footage of the restoration was due to be aired this year. But the BBC axed the segment after a member of the production company Ricochet complained about one of the gags. I would like to know the identity of that employee. He or she has robbed many of us of a decent bit of television. Rare enough on the BBC I couldn’t give a toss if they were upset about the gag. Monkhouse will have bought a damned sight more pleasures to the world than this employee ever will.

Ed Balls should be ashamed of himself. Bringing up Islamophobia and having cunning nasty grin he obviously wanted to trip up this student. Luckily the student was more alert than he was and he kept the subject to burnt ambulances and Jews.

Talking nutsack Ed Balls, husband of our Home Secretary, responding to an Islamist-style attack on Jews by forcing the focus onto…Islamophobia. Suicidal liberal dogma encapsulated in a clip. Credit to @DovForman - dignified response in the face of truly sinister idiocy.

So... the phone carried by the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff, complete with sensitive messages was stolen, *maybe by a spy*, and the didn't even bother to report it to the police or security services. Surely this is potentially a massive breach of security in itself? Or a brazen lie.
