Fake and misleading information regarding fuel rationing in Chandigarh is being circulated on social media. HPCL clarifies that there is no shortage of Petrol or Diesel, and fuel supplies across Chandigarh remain normal and adequate. The display of fuel limits at HG Petro Care, Sector-17, Chandigarh, was done at sole discretion of dealer and without any direction from HPCL. The poster has since been removed. Strict action, including issuance of Show Cause Notice (SCN), has been initiated against HG Petro Care for unauthorized display and creating unnecessary panic. Citizens are requested not to indulge in panic buying and to rely only on official communication.
