Some of us once believed that Panyaza had the potential to be presidential material. However, his actions in Gauteng have shown that he is willing to do whatever it takes to hold onto his position as Premier, even if it means bringing questionable individuals into his executive. His growing alignment with the EFF has significantly weakened his chances of ever being considered for national leadership. Even within the province, people are beginning to lose the little confidence they once had in him. What makes it worse is that the EFF itself is losing ground in Gauteng, which does not bode well for the ANC ahead of the upcoming local government elections. At this point, it’s fair to say that the City of Johannesburg and Tshwane may be lost , and perhaps for good.

@khumo_k7 He didn’t earn that position, Panyaza Lesufi handed it to him. The man was politically finished, completely out of his depth. If it wasn’t for Panyaza, he’d still stuck in the wilderness today, Xhakaza dealt with him.

The African National Congress will never get my vote in Gauteng again. Panyaza Lesufi has appointed Nkululeko Dunga, someone who was removed from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality over incompetence and corruption concerns, and handed him an entire finance portfolio. We’ve already seen the mess he created in Ekurhuleni. This shows a complete disregard for voters and effectively hands Johannesburg to the Democratic Alliance. It’s shocking and deeply disappointing.

We remain resolute in dealing with the rot ,not in Ekurhuleni people must clown elsewhere not here .

Kasongo wanted the whole Treasury so he can control all departments, the ANC’s desperation is the end of it, Lesufi has been weakened, being a Premier without the Finance MEC of your choice is a disaster

uKhozi FM has completely lost its mojo. This new lineup is filled with unknown and, quite frankly, underwhelming talent. I understand the idea of introducing fresh voices, but there’s a clear difference between raw potential and outright mediocrity, and right now, it leans heavily toward the latter. With the exception of Vee Mthembu, who I believe is a strong presenter, most of the lineup simply doesn’t meet the standard. Even then, I don’t think he’s suited for a high-pressure, talent-demanding slot like the Breakfast Show. Back in the day, uKhozi FM had real standards, many of these new recruits wouldn’t have even made it as traffic reporters. The decline in talent has been gradual, but now it’s undeniable. As a true radio fanatic, I’m not just disappointed, I’m frustrated by how far the station has fallen.

I truly believe your destination is Metro FM. Once you’ve had enough rest, I’m certain you’ll find your way there, it’s where you belong. Radio is your calling, and you’re one of the few presenters who were truly born for it. I’m also glad you left that station when you did, it was the right decision for you.
