I don’t know you, but you are the full protagonist of your own story.
You have a life as vivid, textured, and complicated as mine. Perhaps more so. You wake up with thoughts already in motion, a to do list in the back of your mind, memories that color your mood before your feet even hit the floor. There are people you love, people you tolerate, people you miss, and people you wish you’d never met. There are decisions you’re proud of and quiet regrets you carry like sharp stones in your pocket.
Right now, as you read this, there’s a whole universe moving behind your eyes: plans you’re turning over, fears you don’t say out loud, tiny joys that no one else would understand but you replay anyway. There are rooms you’ve stood in that I’ll never see, conversations that changed you that I’ll never hear, private battles you’ve fought that no one clapped for but you survived anyway.
I don’t know your name, your history, or what today has demanded from you. I don’t know what you’ve had to push through just to appear “fine” to everyone else.
But I know this much:
Your world is not background noise. You are not an extra in someone else’s movie. You are the main character of a story that’s been unfolding since before anyone knew who you would become, and it keeps unfolding in a thousand small, significant ways that most people will never fully appreciate.
What you carry is real. What you feel matters. And the way you keep going no matter how awkwardly, imperfectly, or stubbornly is its own brand of quiet heroism.
I don’t know you. But I’m glad your story exists.
