Raúl Castro was a murderer, a terrorist, and a tyrant. He oppressed the Cuban people, destroyed innocent lives, and brought generations of suffering. For Cuba, for the victims, and for every family that endured his brutality: let justice be done.

I’m not into black listing anyone from future work in their area of expertise but I do think it’s fair to want a whole new crop of foreign policy staffers in the next democratic administration. It’s not like the same 120 people are the only people who know anything.

President Trump should cut off all federal funding for New York City until Mamdani resigns. Mamdani is using taxpayer money to make Palestinian propaganda about Nakba and his supporters are threatening to attack Jews in New York on a daily basis. Trump can easily win this fight by denying NYC all federal funds until Mamdani resigns. It’s simple.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor

Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed. Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.

@PropertyMan219 @jacobin Notice how luxuries went down and necessities went up. It’s because necessities are *necessary* and people *have* to have them to survive, so of course the hyper capitalist mentality is to go as expensive as feasibly possible to make a profit at the expense of people.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani mocks Ronald Reagan’s infamous quote. “I can think of nine words more terrifying than ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help…’” “I worked all day and can’t feed my family.”

@iambeanfeed @Ojeda4America Exactly that, to declare war.the constitution and Bill of rights is basically a set of specific restrictions on government and the founders put none on the presidents command over the military.

Maj. (Ret.) Richard Ojeda (NC-09)
The Secretary of State just said the War Powers Act is unconstitutional. He is deliberately misleading the American people. The constitution says: “The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy.” This is about leading forces, not deciding to start wars unilaterally. Congress has a role to decide IF we go to war. The president has the power to decide HOW we fight it. You don’t get to rewrite Article I, Section 8 just because you don’t like it, @marcorubio.

Sec. of State - Marco Rubio is saying the constitution and black letter law is optional. This regime is telling you that following The War Powers ACT (1973) LAW is "unconstitutional" and are choosing which parts to adhere to. In a Democratic Republic that's not how it works!

@iambeanfeed @Ojeda4America No, I'm saying no matter what laws Congress passes the president still has the auth to conduct military action as he sees fit. The precedent set is that Congress doesn't have the stones to actually try to enforce their BS law, knowing full well it would fail at some court level.

@SBgrand @Ojeda4America So, your actual argument isn’t about what’s in the constitution, it’s that you believe the fact that a bunch of presidents have broken the law it makes it ok for Trump to, and that you like it that way.
