introducing @Opnmatter — an infrastructure company for real-world agents. today, agents can write code, manage emails and work with money. but they can’t execute on real world actions due to the lack of addressable rails. we’re changing that. 1/5 openmatter.co

i always found it interesting how the kardashev scale isn’t just a question of energy the hard part is not destroying yourself before you get there. the great filter isn’t theoretical — it’s the test. perhaps the simulation exists to proxy these failures? 💭

the world has never experienced exponential curves across every domain simultaneously. for the first time in our history, exponential growth won’t be isolated to a single domain — it will happen across everything, all at once. that’s why the “g” in agi is the unlock.

btw — ai induced psychosis is a very real. i’m not exactly sure how we’ll solve for it though.

i’ve been orchestrating teams of agents to deeply reason through my journal entries and question the logic against itself. it’s so trippy watching your own thoughts get peer-reviewed by versions of themselves. life hack for sure.

every compute era needed its own substrate. for ai — it will be atoms.

yesterday @karpathy dropped a chart scoring every job in the us and its exposure to ai — scored 0-10. notice how every green cell is a job where the work happens in atoms. ergo the physical world. atoms are currently the only safe haven.

nfc still hasn’t had its big moment — outside of contactless payments. when i ran spatial, we thought fashion + digital twins would be it’s thing. it worked, but it didn’t scale. at @opnmatter, we think it might end up being an endpoint for agent-to-real-world proof of work.
