Somebody has to say it and I will.
A lot of men grew up watching women tolerate cheating or polygamy and assumed it was love. But in many cases, women accepted due to survival, family stability, or social expectation or legitimacy.
Societally, being married was more important than being exclusive and is still is.
However, it shaped expectations of what men think women should accept in relationships.

This is what I have been talking about. Marriage doesn’t end at provision as a man. There’s a lot more to do.
You can pay the bills, send school fees in pounds, handle responsibilities and still lose your marriage emotionally if connection, presence, attention, and intimacy are gone.
The painful part is when one person is breaking his back in pounds to build a future, while the other is creating memories with someone else in the same house.
Some betrayals change people forever.
