Those saying the kidnap was staged are spitting on the graves of the captive that was murdered and security personnel that lost their lives in the course of the rescue. They are mocking the pain and trauma of those that were held captive for weeks. They are denying the pain and risk the personnel took. What they are doing is tantamount to mocking a rape victim. It is similar to blaming a rape victim. It can be likened to telling a rape victim to her face that the rape never occurred. Every well-meaning Nigerian must ensure this set of people never have a voice in our politics again. They should be stigmatised. They should be ostracised. This is no longer about politics, it is about our survival.
