I have a cycle lane running outside my home. I have cctv on the front of the house. Today I reviewed on fast forward 10am to 11am. Zero cycles passed along the cycle lane. This is not a trendy opinion, but I would rip up almost all Edinburgh's cycle lanes which clog the city and cause pollution from endless traffic queues.

@GaraidhM @AlanShanks4 Did you actually read how the D'hondt method works because if you did. You would know that under that system, if a party win a large portion of the Constituency (1st) vote then a mathematical equation determines that they are at disadvantage to gain the Regional (2nd) vote.

@AlanShanks4 That's not how proportional representation works. The Additional Member System guarantees every party a proportional share of the 129 seats. The unionist parties get seats because unionist voters vote for unionist parties.

If every SNP voter votes SNP/Greens, the BritNat representation in Holyrood will be absolutely decimated. That's not up for debate, it's just arithmetic. Forget which constituency you live in, just vote SNP/Greens to boot as many BritNats out of Holyrood as possible 🤷
