I sure was, he was strong enough and ready to go to Omaha with his company of MPs and direct the incoming men from the landing craft up the beach and gentle enough to hold me as a 4lb one month early preme. Only three survived but he had been sent to the infirmary before they all shipped out. He was later stationed at a POW camp France. He almost never spoke about "the war" so I didn't even known about it until after I was an adult.

🌟 **Friends, in a world swirling with fear, uncertainty, and distractions, God's timeless command echoes powerfully across millennia:** 🌟 > "Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go." — *Joshua 1:7 (NIV)* This wasn't just a pep talk to Joshua as he stepped into Moses' massive sandals, facing the daunting task of leading Israel into the Promised Land. It was a divine blueprint for victory—rooted in unwavering obedience to God's Word. 📜 **Early Church Fathers Insight:** Origen of Alexandria, the brilliant 3rd-century scholar, viewed Joshua (whose name means 'Yahweh saves'—the same as Jesus in Hebrew!) as a profound type of Christ. He taught that Joshua's courageous leadership prefigures our Savior, calling believers to bold fidelity to Scripture. Just as Joshua didn't veer from the Torah, we must cling to Christ's teachings, finding true prosperity not in worldly success, but in eternal inheritance. 💪 **Warm Encouragement to Trust God:** Beloved, whatever 'Jordan River' you're staring down today—a crumbling career, a prodigal child, a health scare, or that dream you've shelved out of fear—hear this: *Your strength isn't self-made; it's God-breathed.* He repeats 'strong and courageous' three times in Joshua 1 (vv. 6,7,9) because He knows our frailty. Don't turn right toward shiny distractions or left into doubt's ditch. Stay laser-focused on His Word. Meditate on it day and night (v.8), let it shape your decisions, fuel your prayers, and steady your steps. God promises *success*—not always ease, but purpose, provision, and His presence wherever you go. I've seen it: A friend battled cancer, obeyed by praising through tears, and emerged with deeper faith and unexpected ministry. Another quit a toxic job, trusted Scripture's wisdom, and landed a dream role. *Your story's next.* Rise up! Claim Joshua 1:7 like armor. Trust the God who parts seas, topples walls, and turns ashes to beauty. He's not just with you—He's *for* you. Step boldly into your Promised Land. Who's ready to obey and conquer? Drop a 🔥 or 🙌 below, share your 'Joshua moment,' and tag a friend who needs this! #BeStrongAndCourageous #Joshua17 #TrustGod #BibleEncouragement #FaithOverFear #FearNot220 #Catholic

🌟 'The Lord said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you."' (Joshua 10:8, ESV) In the heat of battle, as Joshua faced overwhelming odds against five Amorite kings, God spoke these timeless words of assurance. This wasn't empty encouragement—it was a divine guarantee of victory. Joshua didn't charge forward in his own strength; he trusted the One who fights for His people. Early Church Father Origen, in his *Homilies on Joshua*, offers profound insight: Joshua (whose name means 'Yahweh saves,' a precursor to Jesus) typifies Christ leading us in spiritual warfare. Origen teaches that God's command 'Do not fear' applies to our inner battles against sin, doubt, and despair. Just as no enemy withstood Joshua, no spiritual foe can prevail when God declares victory beforehand. 'The Lord has given them into your hand'—past tense! The battle is already won in His eternal counsel. Friends, what 'them' are you facing today? That towering diagnosis? The crumbling finances? The relational storm? The anxiety that whispers you're alone? Hear God's voice cutting through the chaos: "Do not fear them." He sees the end from the beginning. Your enemies—fear, failure, foes—cannot withstand the God who parts seas, topples walls, and raises the dead. Trust Him today. Step forward like Joshua, not in presumption, but in faith. Recall His past faithfulness: every prayer answered, every burden lifted, every dawn after the darkest night. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Surrender your fears at His feet, and watch Him turn your 'giants' into 'bread' (Numbers 14:9). You're not fighting for victory—you're fighting *from* victory. Rest in His promise. Share this if it's speaking to your heart, and tag a friend who needs this reminder. Let's encourage one another to fearless faith! 🙌 #Joshua108 #TrustGod #NoFearInFaith #BibleEncouragement #SpiritualVictory #FearNot220 #Catholic

🌟 'This is what the Lord says— he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.' — Isaiah 44:2 (NIV) 🌟 Oh, beloved friends, pause and let these words wrap around your soul like a warm embrace from the Creator Himself. In the midst of Isaiah's soaring prophecies of restoration, God doesn't shout from a distant throne—He whispers intimately, 'Fear not.' He addresses His people with tender names: Jacob, the once-wrestling patriarch transformed into Israel; Jeshurun, the 'upright one' beloved and chosen. This isn't generic comfort; it's personal, rooted in the miracle of your very existence. God declares He *made* you, *formed* you from the womb—like a potter shaping clay with loving precision (Isaiah 64:8). He knows every fiber of your being, every fear that keeps you up at night. And His promise? 'I *will help you*.' Not maybe, not if you're good enough—unconditional aid from the One who chose you before time began. Early Church Father Origen, in his Commentary on Isaiah, illuminates this beautifully: 'Here, the Lord reveals His intimate knowledge of us from formation in the womb, banishing fear through the assurance of divine assistance and election. It is a call to childlike trust in the Father's care.' What wisdom! Origen reminds us that God's 'Fear not' is no empty platitude but a bedrock truth forged in eternity. Today, as headlines scream chaos—wars raging, economies teetering, personal storms brewing—hear this anew: *Do not be afraid.* The God who parted seas, toppled giants, and raised the dead holds *you*. He formed you for purpose, chose you for glory. Anxiety whispers lies; faith declares victory. Sisters and brothers, release the grip of worry. Breathe in His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Recall Psalm 139: 'You knit me together in my mother's womb... I am fearfully and wonderfully made.' Trust Him with that job loss, that diagnosis, that fractured relationship. His help is en route—often in ways that surprise and delight. I've walked fear's valley too—nights doubting tomorrow. But time and again, God showed up: provision in scarcity, healing in pain, joy in ashes. He will for you too. Action step: Today, journal one fear and counter it with Isaiah 44:2. Speak it aloud. Share it here—let's build faith together! Tag a friend who needs this. You're chosen, formed, helped. Fear not—live boldly! 💪🙏 'The Lord will help... Fear not!' #FearNot #TrustGod #Isaiah442 #BibleTruth #FaithJourney #GodsPromises #ChristianEncouragement #SpiritualGrowth #FearNot220 #Catholic

🌟 In the storm of life's trials, there's a joy that words fail to describe—a radiant, glory-filled rejoicing that anchors the soul! Dive into this powerful promise from 1 Peter 1:6-8 (ESV): "In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory." What a truth! Peter writes to suffering believers scattered by persecution, reminding them that trials aren't pointless. They're the refiner's fire, purifying faith into something more valuable than gold—preparing us for Christ's return in splendor. Early Church Father Origen, reflecting on this passage, marveled at how believers experience 'joy unspeakable' through spiritual vision of the unseen Christ. He taught that this divine ecstasy transcends sensory pleasures, bubbling up from the heart's union with God, even when eyes see only darkness. Beloved friends, are you walking through fire right now? Job loss, broken relationships, health battles, or unspoken fears? Lean in—God sees your faith's hidden gold. He grieves with you but promises JOY beyond expression. It's not denial of pain; it's defiance of despair! Picture the early Christians in Roman arenas, singing hymns amid flames. Or think of modern saints in war zones, worshiping with tears. Their secret? Trusting the unseen Lover of their souls. Today, surrender your trials to Him. Whisper, 'Though I don't see You, I love You. I believe.' Watch as inexpressible joy rises, glory filling every crevice of your heart. You're being made ready for eternal praise! Trust God fully—He's faithful. Your story's refinement leads to revelation. Rejoice! Share your testimony below: How has God given you this joy in trials? Let's encourage one another. 💖🙌 #1Peter18 #InexpressibleJoy #FaithRefined #TrustGod #BibleEncouragement #ChristianJoy #FearNot220 #Catholic

The US government should only consider aid to nations that officially and legitimately recognize their citizens inalienable rights as American's that are enshrined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights of the United States of AMERICA! It's like depending on an unapologetic achoholic drug addict to have your back when you have his, he won't be there because he doesn't respect himself enough to be able to return the grace.

🚨 NATO CRAWLS TO TRUMP FOR FORGIVENESS NATO chief Mark Rutte has rushed to Washington to apologise after the alliance abandoned America during the Iran conflict. Trump is not in a forgiving mood. He called NATO’s refusal to help “a mark that will never disappear.” Spain shut its airspace completely. France blocked weapons flights. Germany branded the war illegal. While the UK flew some defensive missions, we have done nowhere near enough to support our greatest ally. Trump now has exactly what he’s wanted for years - clear proof that America is paying for a one-way alliance. Europe has shown its true colours.

🌟 'Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him.' — Psalm 64:10 🌟 Friends, in a world swirling with chaos—headlines screaming division, personal battles raging unseen—this verse from Psalm 64 is a divine anchor. Penned by David amid plots of enemies and 'poisoned words like arrows' (v.3), it culminates in triumphant hope: the righteous don't just survive; they *rejoice* and *take refuge* in Yahweh, the unassailable God. Picture it: Wicked schemes unravel as God shoots His arrows back (v.7-8), turning terror on the plotters. The outcome? 'All who see it will fear and will ponder what God has done... Let the righteous rejoice!' Our joy isn't fragile optimism; it's rooted in God's justice and protection. Early Church Father St. Augustine, in his *Enarrationes in Psalmos*, illuminates this beautifully: 'The righteous rejoice in the Lord, not in themselves, for their heart is fixed where true joy abides—undisturbed by tempests.' Augustine knew trials intimately; exiled, slandered, he found solace in God as the soul's true shelter. Beloved, what 'arrows' pierce your life today? Job loss? Broken relationships? Health scares? Anxious tomorrows? Hear the call: *Rejoice in the LORD*. Let praise rise like incense, not because problems vanish, but because He's greater. *Take refuge in Him*—run to prayer, His Word, worship. He's your high tower (Prov 18:10), shadow of wings (Ps 91:1), rock unshaken. I've seen it: A friend, cancer-riddled, sang hymns in hospital rooms, her face radiant. 'God is my refuge,' she'd say, and peace enveloped her. Miracles followed—not always healing as expected, but transformed hearts, deepened faith. You, righteous one (justified by Christ!), step into this promise. Start small: Thank Him now for breath, salvation, unseen battles He fights. Journal victories past. Gather with believers. Watch fear flee as joy surges. God delights in your trust. He frustrates foes, upholds you. Rejoice boldly—your refuge is eternal! Who's with me? Share below how God's been your shelter. 🙌 #Psalm64 #RejoiceInTheLord #TrustGod #BibleTruth #FaithOverFear #ChristianEncouragement | #FearNot220 #Catholic

🌟 "Fear not, Jerusalem! Take heart and hope, for he who named you shall comfort you in sorrow." – Baruch 4:30 🌟 In the shadows of exile, as Jerusalem languished under Babylonian captivity, the prophet Baruch penned words of divine fire. His message pierced the gloom: a rallying cry from God Himself to a battered people. Not mere platitudes, but a rock-solid promise echoing through centuries. God sees your tears, remembers your name, and vows deliverance. Early Church Father St. Jerome, who included Baruch in the Vulgate Bible, saw in these verses a profound foreshadowing of God's eternal mercy. In his writings, Jerome emphasized how such promises sustain the soul amid trials, pointing to the ultimate comfort found in Christ, the true light of the New Jerusalem. Beloved friends, hear this today: Whatever storm rages in your life—be it illness, loss, anxiety, fractured relationships, or a world spinning into chaos—God whispers the same to YOU: "Fear not!" He who parted seas, toppled empires, and raised the dead is your Protector. Jerusalem's ruins became resurrection ground; your valleys of despair will bloom with hope. Trust Him fully. Cry out! Let faith be your shield, His Word your sword. Imagine dawn breaking over Zion's hills, golden light chasing shadows away. That's your story unfolding. "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?" (Psalm 27:1) Rise up, child of God. Share your testimony below—what 'Jerusalem' is God comforting in your life? In the shadow of impending doom, as the mighty Assyrian army encircled Jerusalem like a storm cloud ready to unleash destruction, King Hezekiah stood before his trembling people and spoke words that echo through the ages: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there are more with us than with him." (2 Chronicles 32:7, ESV) Imagine the scene: Sennacherib's forces, the superpower of the day, boasting 185,000 soldiers at their gates, mocking Judah's God. Yet Hezekiah's rallying cry wasn't based on chariots or numbers—it was rooted in the unseen reality of God's presence. That night, an angel struck down the Assyrian camp, proving Hezekiah right (v. 21). The Early Church Fathers saw profound truth here. St. Athanasius, in his *Life of St. Antony*, describes how the great desert father faced demonic hordes without flinching: "The demons make sport of men's fears... but the saints, seeing the invisible armies of God, fear nothing." Like Hezekiah, Antony trusted that heaven's hosts far outnumber earthly threats. Friends, what 'Assyrian armies' besiege you today? The diagnosis that steals your breath? The job loss echoing like war drums? The relationships crumbling under pressure? The global chaos that whispers, 'You're alone'? Hear Hezekiah's voice anew: *Do not be afraid or dismayed.* Why? Because there are *more with us than with them.* The God who parts seas, topples giants, and empties graves fights for you. Psalm 34:7 declares, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." You're not outnumbered—you're surrounded by divine reinforcements. So rise, beloved. Strengthen your heart in prayer. Let courage be your banner. Trade fear for faith, dismay for declaration: 'Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world' (1 John 4:4). God has never lost a battle, and yours is already won. Today, whisper this verse over your fears. Share it with someone battling their own horde. Trust Him—He's got the victory. Who's with me? 🙌 #BibleEncouragement #TrustGod #NoFearInFaith #2Chronicles327 #FearNot220 #Catholic
