lol it’s about sweetheart deals with the Liberals, see the preference deals in Victoria which saw FF shaft PHON in exchange for putting the Libs at #2 AFTER Warren Pickering had already printed initial HTV cards. Watch for Liberal preferences to FF at the Vic and NSW elections!
Family First Party@FamilyAu

🗳️ Family First REFUSES to preference One Nation in Farrer It’s not politics — it’s about standards. When a candidate’s record raises serious questions about respect for women, Family First is drawing a line in the sand. This decision may turn heads… but it says everything about the values that matter. 👇 MEDIA RELEASE Family First refuses to preference One Nation in Farrer over candidate’s view of women Family First has today announced that the party will not be recommending its number two preference for One Nation at the upcoming Farrer by-election, citing serious concerns about the conduct and record of its candidate, David Farley. National Director Lyle Shelton said recent revelations about Mr Farley’s social media activity, including the sharing of sexually suggestive content involving young women, raised serious questions about his judgement and respect for women. To their credit, major parties will generally dis-endorse candidates for this sort of activity. “Family First will not be preferencing One Nation in Farrer because we believe in respecting women and girls. We reject the sex industry’s online platforms designed to deceive young women into thinking posting pornographic images of themselves is ‘empowering’,” Mr Shelton said. “Politics should be about lifting standards, not lowering them. The character of candidates matters.” Mr Shelton said the concerns extended beyond a single incident. “Comments previously attributed to Mr Farley about former prime minister Julia Gillard were offensive and demeaning—not just to her, but to all women. This points to a deeper problem.” He said Mr Farley’s conduct also sits at odds with the clearly expressed values of the local community. “In 2024, Albury residents strongly opposed the establishment of a strip club in their city, with the council ultimately rejecting the proposal after significant community backlash. That tells you something important about the values of this electorate.” “People in Farrer want a family-friendly community that respects women—not one represented by someone who promotes content that objectifies them.” Family First has selected local mother of four Rebecca Scriven as its candidate. Mr Shelton also said there is a broader pattern within One Nation that cannot be ignored. “This is not an isolated issue. One Nation has a pattern of elevating individuals who demonstrate a low regard for women.” “In Victoria, the party has promoted a senior figure who has publicly celebrated her past involvement in running a strip club—something that many Australians, particularly mums and dads, find deeply concerning.” Mr Shelton said Family First offers a clear alternative. “Family First stands unapologetically for the dignity of women, the protection of children, and the strengthening of families.” “Preferences are not just tactical—they are a statement of values. And our values are clear: we will not support candidates or parties that contribute to the degradation of women.” media@familyfirstparty.au #Farrerbyelection #Auspol #TakeThePressureOffFamilies #FamilyFirst

@injectvision @Dittloff4Sense Yeah Dig ID and credit scores will be the final handcuff on us all. But if you think the market isn't already distorted by our loving government then I don't know what else to say. Take drastic measures to correct the course now or else there won't be a market to fix later.

“We have to pull the trigger” - PHON want emergency measures and fuel rationing, and for the government to “come in and take control of the situation”. What could go wrong? This “crisis” is the result of government meddling at every level globally. youtu.be/kDz1xuaKazM?si…

@theopenedmind @Dittloff4Sense Yes, that’s called agrarian socialism. Distorting the market to favour farmers. Emergency powers are emergency powers. This action is exactly why digital id and credit scores are a thing to be feared.

@injectvision @Dittloff4Sense No these measures have to take place because we've been deliberately mismanaged by criminally negligent idiots for decades. One Nation are trying to keep our farmers from going belly up.

Today's ruling by the IOC means a welcome return to fair sport for women and girls, but I'll never forget the scandal of Paris 2024, when people who consider themselves supremely virtuous and progressive publicly cheered on men punching women.

🚨 In my remarks on the war in Iran, I urged Prime Minister Albanese to hold the line and to uphold strict Australian neutrality and that we should be a voice for peace talks and de-escalation. Prior to this war, 95% of pundits in the West were in agreement that the US-led regime change wars in the Middle East since 2003 have been multi-pronged disasters ... but now those with the memories of goldfish seem to sincerely believe this war is just fab! These dangerously dumb people are easily manipulated by war propaganda. So what is the correct policy towards anti-West regimes? "Trade sanctions against regimes like Iran, Cuba and North Korea only bring poverty to the people of those nations and thereby strengthen the hold of those regimes ... whereas trade and investment will see the emergence of a middle class that will moderate the radicalism of these regimes." @rowandean

@AusPoll6 If this poll is what happens in the next federal election and if Liberals direct their preferences to One Nation and no one in IND or OTH direct their preferences to Labor. Then Labor is gone next election.

VOTE ONE NATION IN SA ‘26 The Libertarian Party got the numbers for state registration in a Herculean effort in SA - then the SA government changed the law to require 8 months of rego required to be on the ballot. I believe Libertarians offer a unique absolutist stand on free speech, property rights, and opposing more government intervention and powers even for good aims with best intentions. I’ll always vote #1 libertarian where I can and encourage others to do so. For the 2026 SA election PHON is the only party with a chance of being a genuine opposition to labor, and voters have an opportunity to send a message to the uniparty. For the 2026 SA election this weekend I encourage anyone reading this post to vote One Nation.

@arbsmichael PHON also sit closer to Labor-right on policy than anything resembling Liberal. Then there’s behavioural reasons for greens prefs. Higher education correlates with higher institutional trust and system engagement - which gives more complete preferential votes than right-minor.

Greens voters are the most disciplined. 88% of Greens voter preferences flowed to Labor at the 2025 federal election. The 2022 South Australian state election shows the same pattern: 🍉 81.2% of Greens voter preferences flowed to Labor 🐶 69.8% of Animal Justice Party voter preferences flowed to Labor Contrast this with One Nation voters, whose preferences were far more evenly split: 46.8% to Labor and 53.2% to the Liberals. Similarly, Family First votes which flowed 47.4% to Labor and 52.6% to the Liberals. It’s not just the direction of voter preferences that is less disciplined on the right; it’s the use of preferential voting itself. In the 2022 South Australian upper-house election (the white ballot), two-thirds of voters simply wrote “1” above the line and stopped. It was Greens voters who were most likely to number beyond 1. 44.6% continued their preferences, compared to just 24.2% of One Nation voters. If you just vote “1” above the line and your chosen candidate does not receive sufficient votes to reach a quota (and be elected), when they are excluded, your vote will likely exhaust because no further preferences were marked. If you had continued to number your preferences, your vote would remain active and be transferred to the next best option you chose that’s still in the race. Every exhausted vote is a wasted vote that increases the relative power of ballots remaining in the count. To reduce the risk of your vote expiring worthless, I suggest allocating preferences as far as you can. And remember, parties do not control your preferences in South Australia. How to vote cards are a suggestion, not an instruction. Only you have the power to allocate your own preferences. Take a leaf out of the Green voter playbook. Love them or hate them, Greens voters know how to use the system.
