We made a physical AI agent that navigates in your home Our robot starts in a minute, can talk and listen, and use an arm This runs on @innate_bot MARS, our open-source agentic platform–here with a @GeminiApp based agent ⬇️ Closed beta available right-now

Time to build general-purpose robots, on hardware made in SF We are bringing @NASA @GoogleDeepMind @scale_AI and more at @ycombinator for a general-purpose robotics hackathon Each team will have a robot and compete across all Al modalities to make the coolest AI project ⬇️

we made our robot calibrate its depth camera by holding a sign with its little arm you only have to put a cardboard in its hand and press a button in the app pretty cool :)

@theonlyAyo I agree with you on lightweight and modular, but price needs to be a bit more reasonable. @innate_bot seems to be building a personal robot for developers at a much lower price tag.

To me, this is the path into homes. Small, lightweight, and modular robots that are family-friendly and developer-focused. As I always say, robots today need families to adopt them and help them integrate into society more than they need employers expecting reliable labor / assistance at home. Developers and tinkerers happen to fit this criterion best.

Meet Sprout. Today, we’re releasing a new kind of robotics platform. One designed to move out of the lab and into the real world, closer to the people who will shape what robots become next. [1/4]

It would be amazing if every school had a couple @innate_bot robots or huggingface so101s. Great way to get kids excited about tech, engineering, software if they can actually see robots moving around. If this is the future we should act like it

I would really love to see kits like these become available for school kids to get into robotics/AI. But I think there is an aversion towards spending capital in most schools, and even in places where they can afford it, most of them just become some sort of coaching center for competitive exams and ignore every other skill! @innate_bot @eyecandyrobots. Majority of the schools in India doesn't even have computers for students to use. Some companies end up doing pop-up robotics/drone workshops and take money from the kids. I think they do bring some joy and curiosity but really they are not optimal! I just wish the schools in India really allocate some time for kids to engage in activities they are inspired or excited about! I wonder how Chinese schools work.

@shreyasgite @chris_j_paxton That's the goal, with a particular focus on productization We put in a lot of work in getting the best of research in a working affordable product for everyone. And if you make something great with it, it will be implemented on others and you get rewarded for its use

@chris_j_paxton nice, can you train with your own data for your own tasks? And use it for trying different research techniques?

The robots from @innate_bot look like a lot of fun. The humanoid demos you see are fun, but nothing actually beats a robot that can roam around and do something, and I feel like it will be easier for people to do this (and do it safely) with innate
Ilir Aliu@IlirAliu_

It doesn’t look like much. But this small robot from Stanford might do for robotics what the Apple II did for computing... make it personal. 🧵 [📍 Save this... you’ll want to remember his name.]
