A quirky coincidence. Diana Pasulka calls it the book encounter...which I really appreciate her naming this phenomenon. In 2001, after I prevented a fire in my friend's three story brownstone in Seattle through a powerful nagging intuition to go back to her apartment (where we found a three wick candle left burning and a smoke filled hall from the bamboo window shade about ready to ignite) I decided I was going to figure out what that nagging intuition was. My search led me to 'Twice Sold Tales' a used bookstore that I frequented, but I had never looked into New Age anything before. It's where I found "Miracles of Mind" written by Russell Targ and Jane Katra. I read it and found that Russell Targ explained my experience quite well. His interpretations, views, and of course his work at SRI informed his writings. I went down to meet him when he offered a workshop in Palto Alto a few years later (2004). Then I saw him again at Sol (2023) and then again at Contact in the Desert (2024) where he leaned over in a quasi conspiratorial manner and said quietly, "Wanna know a secret?" I laughed and leaned in equally as conspiratorially and replied, "You know I do." He said what he found in all his research on health and healing was that when people perseverate on their health with an extreme they have a higher mortality rate. So seeing this post by Rudolph Steiner saying the same thing brought that whole series of events back into my awareness this morning and of course being back in the area I've had flashes back to that workshop Russell did and I remember I did pretty well on the task (it was the object-in-a-bag task). I brought a friend with me and asked him to keep an open mind. At the end of the workshop he thought it was all bogus. Lol. Keeping a good skeptic around you at all times is a really good idea to stay balanced. Its amazing to see how things have come full circle after 25 years now in this field. It certainly is a journey. One that I'm told just continues expanding more and more as you get older.

You cannot truly heal a human being simply by imposing rules. Not with diets. Not with rigid routines. Not with universal prescriptions about what everyone should eat, drink, or practice. Why? Because there is no single form of health. Every person stands in a unique relationship with the world; with food, climate, work, thoughts, and emotions. What strengthens one person may weaken another. This is why Steiner warned against the modern obsession with health formulas. Real health appears when a person develops an inner relationship with life itself. When eating becomes conscious rather than mechanical. When work awakens inner activity instead of draining it. When the environment inspires rather than overwhelms. Health grows where there is joy, creativity, rhythm, and genuine participation in the world. Without that, even the "perfect" diet or cure becomes empty. What if the real medicine was never outside us, but in the way we meet the world?

“And what is death but an emancipation from time? That is of course only on condition that death really means death, not an entry into another consciousness or another sphere. For Proust, the only real escape from life was into art and, through unexpected memory, into the golden moments of the past, always yielding a magic that is impossible in the present. But for Beckett even art was not enough. He saw it as a trap to turn our eyes away from the realities of life and the true horror of our predicament: facing the horror was for him the only way to be really alive.” — John Calder, The Philosophy of Samuel Beckett

When I asked Ed May in person at the Archives of the Impossible why sections of Grill Flame would still need to be classified after all these years (as recommended by Jacques Valle) his answer was intriguing. He basically said in some of these instances its not about whats inside the programs necessarily, it could be something potentially incriminating about someone specifically (like a project manager for example) inside the files. Interesante no?

👁️ Inside STARGATE: The Declassified CIA Archive on Remote Viewing In January 2017, the CIA quietly placed one of the U.S. government’s most controversial intelligence archives into public view: the STARGATE collection. Released through the agency’s CREST archive, the material documents the government’s long-running remote viewing effort and includes session summaries, operational reports, internal evaluations, foreign intelligence assessments, and broader program records. Official CIA records describe STAR GATE as an umbrella effort focused on anomalous phenomena and related intelligence applications. Most people know the program existed. Far fewer have actually read the primary documents. The CIA’s own Reading Room remains the original source for the archive, while The Black Vault made the material substantially more usable by converting the difficult-to-read .tif release into a searchable PDF collection totaling 89,901 pages. The wider record is also mirrored through Internet Archive-style repositories, where files tied to earlier code names such as SCANATE, GONDOLA WISH, GRILL FLAME, CENTER LANE, and SUN STREAK can be browsed more easily. ([CIA][2]) This matters because the STARGATE release is not rumor, hearsay, or secondhand interpretation. It is the declassified paper trail itself. For anyone serious about understanding what the government actually studied, believed, funded, and argued over in the world of remote viewing, the archive is still one of the most important primary-source collections available. #ufox #ufotwitter
