I couldn't even finish season 1 of Rings of Power it was so slow and stupid. It looks like this new season 3 is going to "time skip" ahead, which is Hollywood signaling that they're abandoning what they were doing and moving a new direction. Should I even bother trying to catch up to see what's going on?

My humble opinion is that in no universe should a league title be defined by goal difference, even less by total goals scored. That's fine for all other positions, but the title? If equaled on points, schedule a neutral ground final game the weekend after the last gameweek.

My biggest problem with Mando hunting Imperial Remnant officers for an entire movie is how it regresses the character to a pre-season 1 state. His story no longer is about his identity and what it means to be a Mandalorian, it's about hunting bounties. It's as boring as it looks. The moment he met Grogu, something fundamental changed in his life. He had to be more than a hunter, he had to be a protector. Then, he met people who shook his philosophy, who made him question his own upbringing and the clan he belonged to. It was a story full of conflict and change that wasn't yet finished, but Favreau was not interested in exploring any of these avenues. Mando has to hunt random Imperial Warlords now because the movie has to be simple so there's not even the slightest chance it confuses people who haven't tuned in since 2020.
