@Drwhales_ That training school is a really solid foundation for banking operations, and it's tough too.
My valedictorian was a first-class Accounting grad.
English

Many years ago, in GTBank training school. We were 40 in my cohort – a mix of First Class, 2:1, and 2:2 graduates from Nigerian and foreign universities.
Everyone that knows Banking knows how intense and competitive GTbank training school is. 4 months of rigorous training and examinations.
At the end, the valedictorian – the best among us was not a First Class graduate or 2:1. She was a 2:2 graduate from OAU. She scored over 90% btw.

@jegedekayode__ Don't do it if you don't have time to monitor what's happening in the business or a trusted relative/business partner to stand in for you.

I was explaining this recently to someone. So let me just say this for those earning 1M+ from a 9-5.
Your salary is too valuable to be funding your daily life. That’s the mistake. You need a separate engine for that.
Put aside 3–4 months of your salary and build a simple, boring business, car wash, barbing salon, shawarma spot, wholesale drinks.
The goal is not to “blow” or “scale” the business. It’s just to cover your living expenses so your salary stops carrying that burden.
Once your survival is handled by cashflow, your salary becomes a weapon.
Now you can deploy it into long-term plays. Investments, assets, high leverage bets. You stop thinking month to month and start thinking in years.
That’s how people quietly build real wealth.

📌 Masterclass. My dad owned a video club & my mom operated a small barbing / hair dressing salon. This taught me the concept of “Daily Cash” flow. You will find high net worth families operating bakeries, coffee shops & eateries next to portfolio brands in telecoms/oil & gas. Those are not hobbies. Those businesses are like wallets for living expenses!

@fisayosoyombo Commissioning bridges and schools in 2026😥, this country is still very far from great.
English

For several hours today, thousands of people in the Opebi-Ikeja axis were stranded, some stuck in their cars, others trekking long distances. There were people who trekked from Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way to Allen; some trekked from Customs to Opebi.
You want to know why?
Because President Bola Tinubu was commissioning a bridge built by Babajide Sanwo-Olu. A bridge. A common bridge was why taxpayers suffered for hours.
Every now and then, you see signs that many of the people in governance are tone-deaf, with scant understanding of the essence of governance: the people. You built a bridge for the people; why suffer them first before letting them use it?
Why do we need a president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces to open a bridge? And why does this have to be done at the expense of public comfort? Who did this to us as a people?

@Faithy_In @AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole I'm sorry we see things differently. Life's too short to live like this. Whether she's begging or not isn't your business, support if you can and move on if you can't. She's made progress, even if the building isn't finished, so either celebrate her or just look away. Selah!
English

@its_ochuko @AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole When she was begging through the entire media space, did she address it to any body.
Like I Said previously, when you grow up l can engage you.
English

@Faithy_In @AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole You didn't answer my question, Faith. Did she personally ask you for support, yes or no?
English

@its_ochuko @AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole Ochuko, you should clean your heart from begging, and encouraging it. Did she not ask for help in a public space?
It would have okay to do her content in the incompleted house, and who ever is touched to help can help. But boldly asking for help over your choice is unreasonable.
English

@Faithy_In @AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole Did she personally beg you for help, like, "Faith Inyang, help me!" If you're not happy or don't have anything encouraging to say, why can't you just move on and let those who want to support do their thing? You really need to ask God to cleanse your heart of all that bitterness
English

@AustineAluge1 @its_ochuko @BolanleCole Oga called it what ever it is you want, l don't encourage begging.
This women didn't come out to ask for help concerning any health issues or any form of emergency.
But for the comfort ofputting their own home in order when she and her family solely made the choice to move in
English

@Faithy_In @AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole If she doesn't ask how will we know that she needs help. There is nothing wrong with this video and i'm hopeful she will get support. I'm sorry, but you're bitter.
English

@AustineAluge1 @BolanleCole Define bitter. You actually need to get well by enabling this behavior.
A lot of Nigerians need help in one way or the other, if we all come out like this, who will help you who?
Its okay for someone to reach out, and decide to help instead of her asking.
English
