Bush league hitting Gunnar with two outs in ninth. Threw at him twice in prior at bat. Awful that Gibson hit Bogaerts but to me it clearly was an accident. Now we might see more fireworks tomorrow

The Orioles went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left nine on base in today's loss.
They recorded 10 hits (as many as the Padres) but scored only three runs to San Diego's nine.

@jasonwp41 Just looked at box score and Orioles guy walked five. Clearly didn’t have great control. Even so, seems like umps were willing to give Padres a couple shots but decided the third one was over the top.

Hope Orsillo doesn’t get in trouble with certain people for being honest about this being intentional. Though I did think Orioles broadcast (which I’ll tweet in a second) did better job explaining the background for those (like me) who didn’t watch the game.

Teams have been getting Gunnar out by pitching him on the outer third of the plate all year, which is why he’s hitting .220. He smokes everything on the inner third. But sure, tell us you’re going to get him out by pitching him inside lmao

The Padres said it wasn't an intentional HBP of Orioles' Gunnar Henderson in the 9th inning. Ron Marinaccio: "He's a great hitter. You've got to make hitters like that uncomfortable at times, and I pulled a fastball a little bit too much there." Craig Stammen: "We need to pitch him inside. If he gets extended, he's going to do what he did yesterday. That's part of pitching, is to be able to pitch inside. Pitch between the plate and the body, and it hit him."
