Personally, I have been trying to find ways to work with John for 10 years. We were both part of the first class of fellows at the MIT BE Comm Labs started by none other than @jayebgoldstein. John was a remarkably clear thinker, brilliant scientist, and warm friend.

Big news this morning at Pillar. John Casey will be joining us as a Venture Partner. John has a super unique background -- a co-founder of Inari Ag, Kintai Therapeutics, and Senda (now Sail), following a PhD in one of the top synbio labs in the world. Welcome John!

I've known @shelbykatdoyle since her first year as a PhD student in Biological Engineering at MIT. She was a @MITCommLab Fellow for years and stood out among her peers. Most recently served as the Co-Director of the MIT Center for Microbiome Informatics and Therapeutics (CMIT).

It is my great pleasure to share with you that @shelbykatdoyle has joined the @founder_leader team, focusing on scientific communication coaching. She is an extraordinary scientist, communicator, teacher, and coach. We are so lucky to have her on our team!
