Carvel had a lot to say to the game officials as he was leaving the ice and then got a face-to-face with their boss afterwards For a league that consistently bills itself as the best league in college hockey, @hockey_east's officiating standard has always been disgracefully low

I'm told the director of on-ice officiating for @hockey_east was at the UMass/BC game today Word is Greg Carvel spoke with him at length following the game "Spoke with" probably isn't the correct phrasing...Apparently Carvel tore him a new asshole for at least 10 minutes

Since UMass hired Ryan Bamford in March of 2015, UMass has played exactly 100 football games They are 19-81 There is, quite literally, no other FBS football institution in the nation where he would still be the athletic director with a gridiron record like that
