@epeemike81 For the record, I am very against using Amherst in the school branding, because that’s just not what Flagships do. HOWEVER, great college flagship towns are also still known and celebrated. Chapel Hill, Knoxville, Ann Arbor, Athens, Tuscaloosa, State College, etc.

Pretty funny to see all the same people who routinely complain about anything connecting "Amherst" to UMass' brand pushing this... #Flagship🚩 is the school's chosen branding. The vibes are bad right now and literally anything they announced would have gotten panned.

The possibilities for this were infinitely more fun/cool than what was pumped out. I will never advocate for AI work over creatives (not the point of this tweet), but I made this with AI in literally two minutes, and look how much more fun/natural it feels.
