I’m beyond excited to share that I’m joining @archntwrk to lead Strategy. I have been friends with @proofofmud and the team since early 2024, and have been tracking their progress ever since angel investing early on. As many of you know, I have been bullish (admittedly even to a fault) on all things Bitcoin for years. I went heavily into Ordinals, Pre-runes / Runes, BRC20s, angel investing into BTC DeFi infrastructure (products, L2s, etc.). But let’s be honest – BTC assets have struggled. Fragmented standards & liquidity, brutal UX, mempool chaos, and poor composability capped the upside. All these issues made trading in the way people are used to on other chains actually impossible and volume tailed off. Without true programmability, BTC DeFi felt like a pipe dream. However, I still fully believe in the Bitcoin thesis: BTC is the gold standard asset in crypto and it should be a productive asset that can be used to trade fungibles / non-fungibles settling on L1 and able to earn yield + be used in normal DeFi activities. And I believe Arch Network is the solution to this. Arch is a custom-built execution layer that makes Bitcoin programmable – unlocking the full stack of financial applications on BTC and Solana-like experience with Bitcoin security and finality. It’s built for retail users who want to trade assets in a familiar experience with bitcoin provenance, but also for institutions looking for native BTC yield rooted in RWA. Unlike every other attempt that forces you to bridge or wrap assets, Arch keeps the $2T+ sitting on L1 Bitcoin at the center. Real Bitcoin, made productive. I’ve gotten to see behind the curtain – and I believe Arch has the “killer apps” needed to kickstart a full ecosystem. One of which is getting tons of institutional attention, and I think can be a total game-changer. Expect to hear much more soon as we ramp towards mainnet and start rolling out our first primitives. I will be talking a lot more about this moving forward. Excited for this next step of my career, and hope to see a lot of you guys playing around on Arch. Arch World Order.
