Four years ago today ... things got weird.

It was my honour to introduce the Enhancing Professional Care for Animals Act today, designed to improve access to veterinary care. If passed, this will be the first time in 35 years that the veterinary medicine legislation across the province has been significantly updated.

When at the @The_OAVT Ontario Assoc of Veterinary Technicians conference in #Hamilton with 1200 #RVTs in attendance, the magnitude of impact that will be realized by modernizing the 35 year old Vet Act/legislation was not lost on me. Thanks #OAVT for your support! #GettingItDone

We've launched a pilot project with @SafePetOntario, which helps people and pets escape violence in Ontario, granting the charity $40,000 to help cover the cost of veterinary care for animals participating in its pet-safekeeping program. 🐾 Learn more: bit.ly/3IpdlO4.
