@Dontwurbowdit @trad_west_ The priest acts in persona Christi. He was given that authority by Christ Himself (Jn 23:20) If you deny this, or deny that Christ did not have this authority, it is you who is the heretic. Fr Thomas Byles, ora pro nobis Deum 🙏🏻

This is the priest who died on the Titanic to hear confessions and administer last rites. Given the opportunity to board a lifeboat on two separate occasions, Father Thomas Byles firmly declined. He chose instead to stay behind, absolving sins and consoling the doomed passengers. Following the vessel's collision with the iceberg, he assembled the remaining crowds on the aft deck. Those who lived through the disaster recalled him standing bravely amid the panic, listening to confessions, granting collective absolution, and reciting the Rosary right up until the ocean claimed the stern. This is the type of story we should elevate, heroic virtue. May the Lord bless us with more holy men possessing the courage of Father Thomas Byles.

@Cernovich I don’t think you have the time for the ocean to overtake your life anyway.

@Cernovich You’d think after the first one they would have followed every wall and looked behind every fake plant and shelf.

I've said before that ship captains during the age of discovery were some of the most impressive human beings to ever live. We have trouble appreciating just how unimaginably great these men were. They had to play the role of navigator, cartographer, astronomer, logistics manager, military commander, judge, police captain, diplomat, CEO, recruiter, accountant and governor, all at the same time, and all under extreme duress, out in the middle of the ocean, cut off from the rest of the world where the penalty for one wrong decision was the death of everyone on board. These are some of the most brilliant and gifted human beings the world has ever known. Nobody on Earth today can come close to matching them. They had a level of both skill and physical courage that just doesn't exist on the planet today.

Christopher Columbus is the ultimate IQ test. You immediately know that someone is a retarded halfwit if they start screeching some nonsense about how Columbus was a genocidal maniac or whatever. Intelligent students of history understand that he is one of the great men of western civilization. This is an awesome move by the White House.

@OracleinIrvine @Timcast The dems have been going for 6$ a gallon for the last 30 years and our boy trump finally did it! Man I’m getting over it. Trump ain’t helping us at all. Chaos vote in November if he doesn’t do something. Like any sort of progress for us or against the pedos.

@MattWalshBlog It’s interesting that for hundreds of years the Muslim world was far more advanced than the European Christian world. Why is that? Why did Europe and America thrive after religion became less important?

It’s amazing to consider that four populated continents border the Atlantic Ocean but for centuries none of them, except Europe, produced a single person who managed to navigate it from one side to another. In fact there is no evidence that any tribe anywhere in the Americas ever even thought to cross it. There was one possible reported expedition from west Africa going the other way but all of the ships were lost, if they were ever actually sent at all. Outside of that, as far as we know, no Africans ever tried to cross it either. Certainly none ever succeeded. Europeans alone had the vision, the courage, the skill, and the ingenuity to pull it off. They not only traversed the unknown sea, but built empires that stretched across it. They don’t want you to learn much about the true history of western civilization because if you do you will learn how incredibly exceptional it is, and has always been.

Northern Europeans lived in cold-dark climate, struggling for basic resources. Most other humans lived in temperate climate; did not have any need to find other lands to exploit. Northern Europeans are gene-coded for scarcity & fighting for resources. One reason they are not content, even after so much.
