For anyone, whether in America or other countries, who finds this result shocking, they should reconsider where they get their information. This trend was obvious on 𝕏 for months, but almost all the legacy mainstream media pushed a completely false reality. They lied to you.

Arizona just declared for @realDonaldTrump, making it a clean sweep of all swing states! Massive red wave success! It is beyond a landslide, as Republicans won: – Presidency – Popular vote – Senate majority – House majority – State governor majority – State legislature majority The few states that didn’t go red are mostly ones without voter ID requirements. Must be a coincidence 🙄 This is an extremely clear mandate from the people for significant change!

I wrote this article a few months ago to succinctly make the case that mass deportations are not unloving and not unbiblical. Why? One of the most effective means of manipulating evangelicals has been what @joe_rigney calls "steering" which is a component of emotional sabotage. When it comes to political decisions, we must stick to what is good, permissible, and prudent. It is good for the government to protect it's borders and punish the evil doer who breaks the law. We all know this. It also permissible for the government to enact policies of deportations. They already do it. They have been authorized by God for just such actions. And it is prudent to follow through on the good and permissible with the least disruption possible. What evangelicals are often unprepared for is the "steering" that comes when policies are enacted which are good, permissible, and prudent but which the left hates. The media establishment will attempt to emotionally sabotage evangelicals by blasting chyrons of "families separated," they will plaster pictures of hispanic grandmothers crying, they will only tell stories of people who are hurting because of these policies. Every policy enacted has an inherent vulnerability: they are executed by humans who are sinful. There will be hiccups and mistakes made. Be prepared for the media to use these instances to cast the entire effort in the worst possible light. They will use historical examples of some of the worst atrocities committed and make a one to one comparison to mass deportations. On top of this, there will be "evangelical" thought leaders from "trusted" institutions who saturate the media landscape with their articles and videos which provide cover for the media and use the Bible in an attempt to "steer" evangelicals. Evangelicals must have spines of steel and resist the "steering" during such times because they know what is good, permissible, and prudent. cleartruthmedia.com/s/249/it-is-no…

I do not leave my fathers behind. I honor them and praise them at the gates. But I also must dissent from them in such times. Piper has been a faithful servant in an age of commiserated blasphemies. He has stood tall against theological liberalism, yet he has caved to significant political pressures and ideologies that ultimately damage his theological reputation and, to some extent, his pastoral one. My sincere hope is that his trajectory does not lead to forms of "conciliatory liberalism" that seek to preserve orthodoxy but embrace sociological variations of heterodoxy.

Presidential election results. Having delivered us from one evil, God now tests us with another. “The Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 13:3

God’s providence is all over this election. It always is, but it’s rarely this evident. Everything from @elonmusk buying Twitter to Biden’s cognitive decline to the last second turn of Trump’s head. “He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings;” Daniel 2:21

Christian, stay out of the Longhouse today. It’s actually very good to be thankful and happy about the national election results.

A word of friendly advice to Christian leaders who did not publicly support Trump in this election: Skip the victory lap. You risked nothing to earn this victory. Let those who stuck out their necks and were criticized for doing so enjoy their moment.

Exit polls show that “threats to democracy” was a top issue. MSM thought that meant votes for Kamala, but turns out it was exactly the opposite: voters are rejecting censorship, lawfare, and dishonesty. 🇺🇸
