You just described a tipper-tippee situation where the college student can absolutely be held liable if they used that info to trade stocks. But thanks for pointing out Vrabel could have (literally) been pumping her for inside info on the other 31 teams. NFL will need to investigate this, especially if the Athletic turns up anything. Simple as that.
Intrusive Thoughts@inherthoughts0

@ScottKacsmar @TraderOrion She is an NFL insider and has the ability to give him information that nobody else knows. Lets make this easy A CEO of a fortune 500 company fucks some college student who is intrigued by stocks CEO gives information to the College student who then buys shares CEO is to blame

For the folks who wanna make anime ye olde fashioned way, if you had an animation hole puncher you could use printer paper to animate stuff all the way up to 9-10 field. Good luck scanning tens of thousands of drawings. [That is why folks switched to digital]

Dubowitz seems hopeful the war will resume which is frankly insane as the U.S. and Israel will be in a worse position a month from now with the world rationing fuel. But ok, keep letting Mark set the policy and see how that ends.
Mark Dubowitz@mdubowitz

Good signs from U.S. negotiators: hold the red lines, reject regime demands. Washington has never had this kind of leverage—after the severe degradation of the regime’s war-making power, repression apparatus, and economic machinery.

Yeah in a lot of ways this is everything Iran wanted: sanctions would have to be lifted, iran becomes a full part of the global community/trade is fully opened, and the only cost is Trump steals some of the toll money
Waqas@worqas

Joint management of Hormuz is a great idea actually and Iran should accept it. Even share the toll, if there will be a toll. Reason: - it gets + toll when it got 0 toll - it retains the ability to shut it down whenever - it gives both a victory narrative - it paves the way for sanctions removal

@jonwsly6 @ettingermentum He spent all of his time going on other people’s podcasts most of whom no one listens too (except Peter Thiel). That got him into trouble in 2024 with his childless car ladies comment.

@sockt2003 @EuroHarden I find the built around embiid thing to be a bit specious. They need 3 shooters even if joel is at his best, and they're one of the worst teams in the league. The only way to get the most out of Maxey is to pair him w someone better so u might as well get someone better.

@jonwsly6 @EuroHarden Like is he a #1 on a contender? Fuck no. But I think if the Sixers had a roster that’s not built around Embiid you’d probably see more success from them without him

maxey and jb are perfect case study in how a fanbase can completely reshape perception. when the narrative is strong enough, glaring flaws get reframed as strengths, or ignored entirely. It becomes almost untouchable… to the point where honest criticism just gets drowned out.

Where did I ever say it should be equal? You're missing the point. My hypothetical (that is likely to happen) is she'll lose everything and he'll have zero consequences. The largest difference possible. And that's gross. If you disagree, whatever. Piss off. I'm allowed to have this opinion.
Ryan@spartacusggs

@ScottKacsmar @KLOUOLK @Introvert_Curt @BobbyBrewer20 @zzbalmz Expecting equal outcomes when their employer is different is the issue everyone is taking with your statement. And it’s valid.

@EuroHarden The weird part is is that if the sixers get a really good offer for Maxey or could trade him for a legit star they should take it. They had a losing record without Joel, Maxey just doesn't have the capacity to put the team on his back

This is the shit Tatum/Embiid don’t chase so it’s mistaken for indifference, which isn’t the case at all. NBA fans struggle to accept some players aren’t interested in pandering or feeding narratives.

Re: Altman, Molotov cocktails, and violence: Here's Yudkowsky saying that more or less 8.2 billion people should be "allowed" to die so that his dumb "utopian" vision of digital space brains among the stars can be realized. (Minimum viable human population might be 150.)
