I was immensely happy when I rescued The Master and Margarita from among the burned books. Since childhood, I have been deeply in love with Russian literature. This novel is, without a doubt, one of the greatest ever written, for it planted in my heart a genuine struggle between right and wrong, freedom and authority, faith and atheism, and between truth and censorship. What makes it even more beautiful is the symbolic, satirical style in which these ideas are presented — and the blending of reality with fantasy. I truly love The Master and Margarita.
