Everyone needs to stop referring to what these terrorists wear on their faces as “masks”. They are neck gaiters, not respirator masks. Referring to them as masks just helps push the vilification of actual respirators, resulting in more bans. It’s an important distinction.

Workers at New York City’s largest Israeli bakery chain have unionized, demanding among other things an end to what they call the company’s support for Israel’s war on Palestine. I know this is extremely simplistic but in times like these I worry that Marx’s worst error was dramatically underestimating the likelihood that the collapse of capitalism would bring about the destruction all life on earth rather a communist revolution.
