NEW LETTER TO ACTING AG TODD BLANCHE: Since the beginning of this Administration, President Donald Trump has directed US DOJ to engage in a campaign of political retribution against his perceived enemies. Calling this investigation a fishing expedition is actually too generous. If your commitment to rooting out corruption were serious, the enormous resources that you have poured into this investigation looking for a crime that does not exist would be focused elsewhere. You need only train your attention on the open-air corruption market that the White House has become. Here are just a few examples:

@GavinNewsom just because you are a Governor does not put you above the law. Isn’t that what the left was saying the whole time under Biden attack republicans is “no one is above the law?” You don’t get a pre-look at your criminal investigation file. You have to wait until you are charged. In fact, trying to just make you look more guilty. You are not being attacked because you “might run” for president. None of us are worried about you ever being elected in. You are being investigated because of the hundreds of billions of dollars in fraud that happened under your watch.

Who cares who started it? If the Newsom’s were breaking the law, the investigation should tell us. He doesn’t get an advanced copy of the investigation just because he is a governor. In fact, in his position, he should be advocating for the correct law enforcement process, not trying to disrupt it. Just makes him look guilty.

From @CNN on Jen Newsom investigation: “The investigation was launched last year by the US attorney’s office based in Sacramento, which is California’s capital city. The person familiar with the probe told CNN it was started based on whistleblower reports, insisting that the leadership of the DOJ headquarters in DC was not involved in opening the probe. Newsom and his allies are nonetheless drawing attention to Trump’s demands that his DOJ prosecute his political foes and the willingness of the Justice Department to pursue those cases.”
CNN@CNN

California's first lady, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, is under investigation by the Justice Department, CNN has confirmed, one day after Gov. Gavin Newsom accused the administration of spearheading a politically motivated investigation into his inner circle. However, a person familiar with the probe denied that it was launched by the department's Trump-appointed leadership in DC. cnn.it/4vRMcd8

@n0t_pop @RoKhanna @mcuban You are clearly missing the point and literally arguing for the status quo and change. Either spend more or cut more. And that is exactly why we are on so much debt.

@keithbarton4tx @RoKhanna @mcuban Once again, im sure someone who incurs crippling medical debt would prefer a flawed VA system to crippling debt. Most people prefer living and not being bankrupt.

Mark, do you not believe that Medicare today for those over 65, run by the federal government, is better than private health insurance plans? And Sanders bill adds protections so the government can't deny needed care.

@n0t_pop @RoKhanna @mcuban Yes, because service is Texas is actually one of the best, but it’s far from perfect and I can fix it, most of it without a single piece of legislation. But does not mean that the VA system scales nationally anyway. You still haven’t answered my questions.

@keithbarton4tx @RoKhanna @mcuban You literally already agree with a socialized healthcare system. If we called it a “Patriot America First Healthcare system” you’d be clapping like a fucking seal.

Yeah, you found surface level BS that didn’t answer the 5Ys to get to the root causes. Because again, it’s not the health care system, with one point of proof being it takes 3-4 times as long to see a doctor in Canada then it does through a civilian network in the U.S. Canada’s average wait time is 28 weeks, not days, weeks. Frankly, as an operator, and taken statistics classes in college too, statisticians almost always fail to actually find the root cause of an issue. Stats get you pointed in the right direction.

@keithbarton4tx @RoKhanna @mcuban Well when I was doing my masters in stats, I found that the higher percentage of public funding for medical care, the higher the life expectancy and the cheaper the care. Significant at 0.03.

Or maybe you rely on true lean six sigma operators like me who actually know how to fix systems in the military and large scale civilian operations instead of asking for a federal government with a over 40% waste variance on federal programs to pay for it for everyone else while taxes all the other people. And you failed to answer my questions. I’m sorry if you found it blunt, but really, that’s just what jarheads are.

@keithbarton4tx @RoKhanna @mcuban Wow go figure me too. But you know what’s better than an imperfect system for people who need support? Any system at all. And a system where your would be constituents can go into life ending debt to receive care while you benefit from taxpayer funds is pretty unhinged, hero.

You pay the same amount I do since I am a 100% disabled vet, and know exactly how much the VA system sucks. So since you want to discuss the VA, what is the less than 2 moves Congress could make that would save the VA $110B every year to then improve healthcare? Or tell me just one of the root causes as to why doctors getting out of the military do not go to work for the VA?

@vauntedrevelrie @RoKhanna @mcuban Lmao, and what is the root cause of that? Because it’s not the healthcare system. So go ahead, use the DMAIC process and 5Y, and find the root cause of lower life spans in America vs Canada.

@keithbarton4tx @RoKhanna @mcuban Medical bills are one of the largest causes of debt collection and economic hardship in the US. We are the only first world country to have its citizenry be crippled by debt to get life saving care or medical procedures. I get it someone pays your bills but evidence disagrees.

@n0t_pop @RoKhanna @mcuban lol, it’s not more affordable, and not by a long shot. Some one still pays the bill, and you do it through taxes that hold a 40% waste before it ever reachers the health care providers. To even suggest that’s it’s more affordable is ridiculous

@SenSchumer if you truly thought that elections should belong to voters, then you wouldn’t fight the SAVE act, lmao. It literally protect ls elections from only allowing citizens to vote. You are too old and stuck I your ways of doing whatever it takes to get reelected because you love power more than taking care of Americans! You have done more damage to this country than anything positive.

Wrong. Emergencies are only 2-5% of spending. Most care is primary, urgent, and specialists—where patients do choose and shop. Insurance companies compete on price/networks too. ‘Natural monopoly’ is cope. Real issues are third-party payers, regs, and consolidation. Government systems fail harder: Canada’s median wait is 28+ weeks. VA has endless waitlist scandals. They ration via queues, not efficiency. Fix distortions for real competition instead of bureaucracy.
