He further said insecurity distracts security forces while illegal activities continue, especially in the North-East, which he described as highly rich in solid minerals that could boost Nigeria’s economy. Fearing possible retaliation, he warned: “The cabals must be stopped,” and urged people to “ask questions” if anything happens to him. He also referenced the prolonged Chibok and Dapchi abd¥ctions, asking, “Who knows where it is going to happen tomorrow?” He added that t+rrorist groups persist because sponsors can allegedly continue recruiting fighters despite military operations.
