Claude Code subagents can nest 5 levels deep now @bcherny announced it, and today I finally got to try it, Here's the full chain running end to end: - main - project-auditor // level 1 - structure-checker // level 2 - import-validator // level 3 - dependency-tracer // level 4 - style-sync // level 5 Each level runs in its own context window Only the top-level summary returns to main, depth 5 is the hard cap, that agent can't spawn further

@thsottiaux Bugs where if I have a `/goal` running with 'Full access' and then restart Codex, when it picks up it keeps asking for permissions. New threads are fine though

why is starlink not actually on any flights? is it expensive to provision? did they not actually roll it out?

wait, that's a real company? I thought it's some sort of 'The Office' style ad for... I don't know, a camera, or payment processor or VC firm or something. Someone actually registered a company named Bland... And got people to invest $100m. I'm not even mad, that's amazing

So Codex usage was reset (great!). But this one just... happened, like in the olden days. I thought they're all 'bankable' now, meaning I decide when it actually happens. It still had a lot of juice left.

Another Codex bug - after restarting the app Subagents ignore the 'Full Access' permission and keep asking you to approve their changes. Option 2 and 1 result in identical outcome

The latest Codex update is buggy. Annoyingly, it doesn't clean up subagent that finished their task, which makes it hard to see how many are actually active /cc @thsottiaux

Is Codex having an outage? All agents just stuck at 'thinking'. Been like that for several minutes now...

I like how Codex names its subagents after scientists. I'd watch a time travel buddy comedy about Copernicus and Maxwell working together
