Our panellists are highlighting that #local #communities are at the heart of blue economy and a healthy ocean: "We need to put change in the hands of people living on the coast", as recalled by Joachim Hjerl. Sylvain Blouet, agreed from the Côte Agathoise experience, their early #engagement is key for successful and #efficient ocean policies.

The crucial role of #MSP in integrating #climatechange actions was underlined by @CFrazaoSantos during the first Panel of the Fisheries and Ocean Dialogues. Climate-smart MSP it is key to minimise impacts and enhance adaptation of maritime sectors 🌪️
