Let me explain the chat for the sake of newbies. Buy and sell volume simple mean the number of shares people are willing to buy and sell at a point in time. Looking at the chart buy volume is currently 40,744 shares where people are willing to buy at GHS 6.42 Sell Price is GHS 6.50 for the 370,000 sharesim the market. This means sellers are offering 370,000 shares at GHS 6.50. What does this tell us? There is an 8 pesewa spread between buyers (GHS 6.42) and sellers (GHS 6.50). A trade will only happen if buyers raise their bids or sellers lower their asking price. The sell side is much heavier than the buy side: 40,744 shares are waiting to buy, while 370,000 shares waiting to sell. This indicates that more investors are looking to take profits or exit at GHS 6.50 than there are buyers at GHS 6.42, so is possible for the price to drop. As a new investor who want to invest, always look at the trade volumes to know if you can easily get into the trade at the prevailing price. When sell volume is high and you bid, you can easily get the shares and purchase and also when buy volume is high and you sell, you order will easily go through. ©️Hamdaway
