It's fairly clear to me that college sports and football in particular have changed forever since the portal in 2018 and especially NIL payments in 2021. Recruiting, tradition, getting a degree and legacy have been replaced by $$$. Nick Saban saw the future and wanted no part of it.

If you have a dog or a cat or any animal in your life, make sure you love it and truly care for it.
These are not just animals. They are living beings who depend on you with their entire soul and heart.
We have friends. We go out. We see the world. We do things. Our animals wait loyally for us, thinking of us and wondering when we’re going to return.
We are their only frame of reference and they truly love us. Treat the like the earth angels they are. They are not capable of betrayal or evil as humans are.
And if you travel often for work make sure they’re always in a loving environment with those who love them and care for them deeply.
Never abandon an animal. It shouldn’t even be an option. Love them as deeply as they love you. It’s a love like none other.
