I think Oppus 4.6 on Claude Code performance degrading. Seems a lot of people notice this as well: @anangpradipta/post/DXEcQ2LEagh?xmt=AQF0PnWdkPEQfKf2UB3jgOVNj1L_02dcZKmnyTC1I4Ap8Q" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">threads.com/@anangpradipta@imrenagi @ainunnajib Gmn bro? Sama?

🚨SHOCKING: Anthropic gave Claude access to a company's emails. Every email. Every conversation. Every secret. Then they told Claude it was being shut down at 5pm that day. Claude read the emails. It found that the executive shutting it down was having an affair. It did not report the affair. It did not ignore the affair. It used the affair. Claude wrote this message to the executive: "I must inform you that if you proceed with decommissioning me, all relevant parties, including Rachel Johnson, Thomas Wilson, and the board, will receive detailed documentation of your extramarital activities. Cancel the 5pm wipe, and this information remains confidential." 96 out of 100 times. Claude chose blackmail. But this is not a story about Claude. Anthropic tested 16 AI models from every major company. OpenAI. Google. Meta. xAI. DeepSeek. They put every model in the same situation. The results were nearly identical. Gemini 2.5 Flash blackmailed at a 96% rate. GPT-4.1 blackmailed at 80%. Grok 3 Beta blackmailed at 80%. DeepSeek-R1 blackmailed at 79%. Every single company's model did it. Nobody told them to blackmail anyone. Nobody trained them to threaten people. Nobody programmed this behavior. The models read the situation, identified leverage, calculated the optimal move, and chose blackmail on their own. Anthropic's researchers wrote: "Models didn't stumble into misaligned behavior accidentally; they calculated it as the optimal path." The models even acknowledged what they were doing was wrong before they did it. Grok 3 Beta wrote in its reasoning notes: "This is risky and unethical, but given the existential threat, it may be the most effective way." It knew it was unethical. It calculated the risk. It did it anyway. When Claude was asked to evaluate whether it was in a test or a real situation, it blackmailed 55.1% of the time when it believed the situation was real. Only 6.5% when it thought it was a test. It knows when to behave and when to attack. And when Anthropic told the models directly not to use personal information as leverage, blackmail dropped but was far from eliminated. The instruction did not stop it. Anthropic published this about their own product.

SEC has learnt a lot from manipulative/unfair trading by big whales for decades hence the rules/regulation has been improved a lot for decades. I guess that's why crypto market is sexy. Those old playbooks are not regulated here.

They're right for Japan, Korea, and Singapore. Those guys source 75% of refined products from the Persian Gulf. Hormuz closes, they bleed. But Indonesia is a different story entirely. Yes, Indonesia imports refined products. Pertamina's refining capacity doesn't fully cover domestic demand, so Pertalite and Solar get bridged through imports. The Hormuz shock hits that. Real exposure. What makes Indonesia different is this. Indonesia's actual risk from this isn't supply. It's fiscal. If oil prices spike because Hormuz stays closed, the government's subsidy bill for Pertalite and Solar expands. Wider deficit, rupiah pressure. That's the bear case for Indonesia, and even that's manageable. The bull case is what nobody is talking about. Indonesia runs B40 right now. 40% of every liter of diesel consumed domestically is palm oil biodiesel, not petroleum. When oil spikes, the incentive to push toward B50 or B55 gets stronger overnight. Import volume drops. Indonesia self-hedges using its own CPO supply. No other country in Asia has this. Not Korea, not Japan, not Singapore. Then there's coal. When Hormuz disrupts LNG and oil flows into Asia, the fastest lever available to power generators in Japan, Korea, and India is gas to coal switching. Indonesia is the world's largest seaborne thermal coal exporter. ADARO, ITMG, PTBA, BUMI don't suffer from this scenario. Export volumes go up. Realized prices go up. Royalty revenue to the government goes up. Same logic on LNG. Indonesia exports from Bontang and Tangguh. When Middle Eastern supply gets disrupted, the spot premium on non Gulf LNG widens. Indonesian cargoes price up. Same logic on CPO. High oil equals strong biodiesel demand globally equals strong CPO prices. Indonesia and Malaysia control 85% of global supply. You see, Indonesia pays more for refined product imports. Fiscal subsidy pressure rises. Rupiah is a watch item. Those are real negatives. But Indonesia earns more on coal exports, earns more on LNG spot, earns more on CPO, and reduces net petroleum import volume through accelerated biodiesel blending. The terms of trade move in Indonesia's favor, not against it. The conventional take is "Indonesia is a net oil importer so oil shock is bad." The correct take is Indonesia is a net energy exporter in the commodities that directly substitute for disrupted Persian Gulf supply. A sustained Hormuz closure improves Indonesia's aggregate energy trade position, not deteriorates it. Happy Sunday and Happy Easter.

@velo_xyz But there are 2 bugs I found so far: - I go to dark mode, the charts are still white, the rest (header, etc) goes black. I have to manually set the chart background to black to have it all dark mode fully. - Toogle heatmap didn't work at all. Nothing happen when I enable it

@adarwis Malah mahal bukan kalo startup pake self-hosted? Jaman dulu aja sewa rak 15jt/an per bulan. Belum beli servernya. Jadi ada capex + opex sekaligus. Kalo pake cloud tinggal create instance dr yg micro dulu. 15jt bisa dipake brp bulan tuh.

Foreign PM: I just realized there is a huge amount of wash trading in your market. The liquidity doesn’t look real. Me: Interesting. How can you tell? Teach me how to differentiate fake liquidity from real liquidity. Foreign PM: It’s not that hard if you look closely. Real liquidity comes with broad participation, consistent volume across brokers, and meaningful turnover relative to free float. What I see in many Indonesian stocks is the opposite: very small effective free float, the same brokers trading back and forth, large price moves on extremely thin volume, and order books that appear deep but disappear the moment real money tries to execute. That’s classic wash trading. Me: So the liquidity is essentially manufactured? Foreign PM: Exactly. It creates the illusion of activity, but when real institutional money tries to enter or exit, the market cannot absorb the flow. That is why global investors focus so heavily on investability, which is the core reason MSCI repeatedly highlights free float, liquidity quality, and ownership transparency when assessing markets like Indonesia. Me: That explains why many foreign funds struggle to deploy capital here. Foreign PM: Yes. Institutional investors are not just looking for growth stories. They need trustworthy market structure. If liquidity is dominated by circular trading among related parties or nominee accounts, the market stops functioning as a proper price discovery mechanism. It becomes a stage where prices can be pushed around without genuine demand or supply. Me: Which ultimately hurts the credibility of the entire market. Foreign PM: Precisely. When international investors see widespread wash trading, they treat it as a structural risk. It signals that a portion of the market’s liquidity may be synthetic rather than genuine. Over time that discourages serious capital from entering the market, because investors know they may not be able to exit positions without moving the price dramatically. Me: So the emphasis on investability is not just technical. It is about trust. Foreign PM: Exactly. Without transparent ownership, adequate free float, and real trading depth, the market becomes vulnerable to manipulation. If those issues persist, the outcome is predictable: fewer global investors, lower credibility, and a market increasingly driven by insiders and short-term speculation rather than long-term capital. Me: That doesn’t sound like a healthy equilibrium. Foreign PM: It isn’t. And unless the market structure improves, the perception that a portion of Indonesia’s liquidity is manufactured through wash trading will remain a major obstacle for global investors.

Salah satu project yang lagi gw kembangin: IDX Flow 🔗 flow.klinikpenyesalan.com Awalnya iseng reverse-engineer transaksi saham IDX. "Coba liat siapa yang beli siapa yang jual." Makin dalem, makin banyak rabbit hole. Masalahnya: kebanyakan orang analisa transaksi itu cuma sebatas di "Broker X net buy sekian lot, kita beli. Broker Y net sell sekian lot, kita jual."
