By including perspectives from both Western and non-Western, as well as nondemocratic contexts, we hope that our research broadens the understanding of journalistic culture on a global scale and creates an awareness of such negotiating processes.

Our new publication delves into how journalists navigate the complexities and conflicts inherent in their work, highlighting the negotiation processes they use to align ideals with practices and the difficulties of doing so.
