@kevharrison_ I found it unbearable too. After about twenty minutes it got too much for me. Universal sent me a survey and I told them what I thought of it. The worst part is there is no escape, no space, no place in the whole SuperMario World where the music is turned down even just a bit.
Unfortunately we had an appalling time at Epic universe in Orlando. We took Daniel to Mario World. Got there at 11 am, was given an entry for the flagship ride at 14:00 with his disability pass.
So what can we do for 4 hours? Well we enter the area and the sound is so loud Daniel starts screaming and Catherine has to take him home. Was told numerous families of autistic people had raised concerns about sound levels.
Absolutely gutted for him.
What do you think of this?
The presenter looked embarrassed.
Ian Hislop used to be funny but now seems very unpleasant.
This show used to be funny but has not for several years.
She literally perfectly fine.
She tried all sorts of other disabilities until she finally settled on the fake illness fibromyalgia.
This is how it works.
It should be called "chronic malingering" - because that's what it is.
I never said "no disabilities exist" so that last line was meaningless strawman bullsh:t
@20Thunderchunky@BBCNews No, but if the doctor then agrees that they have a medical condition that means they can’t work then as a nation we should support them. If you aren’t a doctor, your opinion isn’t relevant.
Yes, all taxpayers have to pay it. This was blatantly obvious. Waste of words.
Let's get down to the brass tacks here - you think that a person who goes to a doctor and says "I hurt all over all of the time and I'm tired" should be allied to live their entire life completely free at my expense.
This is what you are supporting here.
I'm 100% certain that you're actually a "neo-commie" - the absurd evolution of communism which seems to have forgotten the "each according to his ability" part of Marxism. You believe that nobody should have to work to feed themselves. Right?
Food should be "free" right.
I'm right, aren't I?
Just skip the boring intermediate part and skip to the end.
@20Thunderchunky@BBCNews I understand your point to be that you resent that this woman you know doesn’t work & is supported by the state but just because you don’t think she’s genuinely unable to work, doesn’t make that true. many others genuinely can’t work through ill health & disability, could be you
@20Thunderchunky@BBCNews Inheritance tax is only a small proportion the value of most houses - my kids wont have to pay much on the house I own, but they will then fully own a house. This woman won’t.
@20Thunderchunky@Niam2810@BBCNews No one gets benefits just because they say their arm hurts. There has to be substantial supporting medical evidence. I take it you’ve never tried to apply!
@Niam2810@leiselily@BBCNews I'm speaking about one in particular, which is diagnosed purely by the patient saying it.
Guess what - my arm hurts. It hurts a lot. I can't work because it hurts too much.
Give me disability welfare please. Pay me to not go to work.
Tell me why I shouldn't be paid not to work.
@20Thunderchunky@BBCNews She can’t sell it. She can’t leave it to her kids. She doesn’t own it. They didn’t buy it and give it to her, as a present. She RENTS it off them.
@20Thunderchunky@BBCNews When she dies, she won’t be able to leave her house to her children, she doesn’t own it. She can’t sell it and move elsewhere. These are important distinctions because if you own your own house you and your children have advantages others don’t. You’re the one who’s gaslighting.
@20Thunderchunky@BBCNews Um…I’m not sure you understand how home ownership works. If you own your house, you own your house. If you live social housing you RENT your house. Council tax is the tax we all pay to access local services, it isn’t rent. This woman you know has NOT had a house bought for her.
