For the sake of fairness some original series slander. Toph being able to sense airborne earth is retarded. I can suspend my disbelief it if it was bent on the same plane as her, but there was absolutely no way she should’ve been able to sense this.

@LookAtMyMeat1 It's astounding how Korra had everything going for her, and still got folded like an omelette by just about everyone.

Korra didn't earn any of her feats, these were things she was simply capable of doing with zero effort because the writers wanted her to never struggle Aang actually had a journey and had to actually train. Korra was simply "good" from the start.

Huh... you know that I think about it. This brings up some lore problems if Korrais still canon. How has nobody mentioned the events of this movie, like a giant temple nearly Fallin on the city? Or nonbenders getting airbending and taking on some of the most powerful benders alive? Shit like that wouldn't just be forgotten.

The Last Airbender franchise honestly just feels it came from a monkey's paw wish at this point. You will be given the ability to create the most beloved cartoon franchise of all time. But every adaptation to capitalize on that afterwards will be cursed.

@nicostrid i don’t get how she died and then came back to life? if that worked for katara then wouldn’t the others have just woken up too?? or did katara somehow heal herself after she was dead somehow without bending… but then needed to actually bend to heal the others-

everyone’s talking about katara parting the sea like moses and yeah that’s amazing, but what really shocked me about how powerful she is was when the entire gaang died (including her) and she literally brought all of them back to life

Because it's waisted potential and kinda of a nothing burger. I mean, originally, I thought they were going with the possibility of a tyrant avatar who attempted achieving peace and balance a different way by having a disciple like Toppq... showing that the Avatar is not infallible even with the guidance of past lives, but that reveals that she was the kindest and most powerful ever... meh. So much could've been done... and it all just felt... meh. 5.6/10 good animation, but I felt nothing. Especially as they added Korra lore and BS into it all.
