shoutout books for making me who I am today - I wouldn't be as happy or successful in streaming, comp play or life in general without them so heres my recommendations! PRESS READ MORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
and as much as im an advocate for therapy after doing it for 2 years, you can honestly skip it if you're able to grasp these ideas & apply them as soon as you finish them. Therapy was more like the entrance to self help, finding purpose & contentment - it was there when I was going through a lot & helps you structure your thoughts and reflect properly. (because everything you want comes from proper self reflection)
Green Eggs and Ham
Personal favorite book
lowkey changed my perspective on trying new things instead of instantly rejecting them. it’s basically about a dude who REFUSES to try green eggs and ham no matter the situation, but keeps getting pressed about it until he finally gives in… and ends up loving it.
made me realize how much i limit myself just by saying no before even experiencing things. opened me up to being more curious, less stubborn, and more willing to step outside my comfort zone
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
helps me stay grounded in growth & patience. it’s literally about a caterpillar eating everything in sight, going through a process, and eventually becoming a butterfly. simple but kinda deep.
reminds me that growth takes time and phases, and even when you feel like you're just consuming or going through it, you're still progressing. also lowkey about discipline because bro had NO self control at first 😭
Where the Wild Things Are
genuinely a good book about emotions & imagination. kid runs away into a world of monsters, becomes their king, but eventually realizes he still wants to go home.
made me think about how we all escape reality sometimes but at the end of the day we still need connection & grounding. helped me understand my own emotions better instead of just running from them
Goodnight Moon
definitely the most calming and easily digestible, would recommend reading first. it’s literally just saying goodnight to everything in a room, but it creates this peaceful routine and sense of closure.
helped me appreciate slowing down and being present, especially at night when my thoughts are racing. kinda trains your brain to wind down and let go
anyways, those are just my top books. some others like The Cat in the Hat, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Oh, the Places You'll Go!, Diary of a wimpy kid are pretty decent but are significantly more unimportant than the topics covered by these books (in my opinion)
because if you stay open minded, trust the process, understand your emotions & learn to slow down, I don't see how you wouldn't reach your REAL goals & find fulfillment.
im always open to more book recommendations feel free to lmk
Shoutout the magic school bus and kidz bop for inspiration

1. why has FlyQuest attempted to rebrand into a knockoff Buzzfeed? The creative department at FLY is WAY too talented to be wasting time and resources on this genuine slop
2. why is AN LCS TEAM trying to spearhead a debate as loaded as this? If Caedrel ever touched down in LA and asked if he could stream from their office they're dropping everything and rolling out a red carpet with glasses of champagne- why the FUCK is an LCS org intentionally/unintentionally trying to burn bridges??????
3. we can talk about Co-streaming being inherently unhealthy for the ecosystem & we can talk about taxing Caedrel on some Boston Tea Party shit; but to act like Caedrel is the problem when he is 1/2 of reason lolesports is even "thriving" again????
This is unironically the same as saying "Lebron James is bad for NBA viewership because fans would rather watch him than other teams.." YOU GUYS HAVE FAILED TO BUILD ANYTHING WORTH WATCHING SO WHY ARE WE UPSET THAT PEOPLE GRAVITATE TOWARDS SOMEONE WITH AN ACTUAL PERSONALITY
4. it's genuinely so weird to throw in Basil who ACTIVELY CO-STREAMS LCS & has co-streamed with Caedrel as recently as last split (& other content creators) in the video as if they would agree with this stupid ass stance?

@chronakey Say what you will about the man’s playstyle but his music taste is on point

It kills me every time I remember hungrybox has consistently had the music taste of a closeted teenager over the years

All BrokenBlade wants to know is why LCK has two seeds? Simple: because they win when it matters, unlike EU who peaks in scrims and folds internationally. G2’s upset is nice, but one Bo5 doesn’t erase history. Truth stings: EU gets one seed to avoid flooding the bracket with chokers. BrokenBlade talking big after a single win, classic G2 hubris. Finals expose will be delicious. 🤡

@intellegint The people fighting intellegint on this post are assuming too many things

@DeadlockAnon Stop complaining about Apollo pls people haven’t caught on yet
English

@cloudsidky The idea that TL are all of a sudden better than sen just because they beat dsg, who sen sent to losers in the first place was a weird narrative to begin with
English

@DeadlockAnon So glad people think Apollo sucks now so I can get him easily and carry

LYON Inspired 🇵🇱: "[Saint] 🇰🇷 is probably the best mechanical player I’ve played with. His mechanics might even be better than Jojo’s 🇨🇦"
" [...] I’m a bit confused why people think we have a superteam."

@KatarinaNoKami @PapaSmithy It’s not a healthy ecosystem where fans are proudly cheering when things go well and becoming toxic demons when they aren’t. You stick it out through the hard times or you’re just a fairweather fan.
English

@lildashdance @PapaSmithy Also yes, it is good to be rude sometimes. It is needed, because people always say "oh it's ok, u tried ur best" and that toxic positivity does nothing.
It is good to hear fans be upset. Cuz if they aren't upset by this gameplay, it means ppl don't care about your team.

That ends our LCS Winter Split - We were found out on stage and downloaded by better, more experienced teams as the split went on which felt rough to watch but has a big silver lining for me.
From the org POV the point of a short opening split with 3 rookies is to identify the issues we need to prioritize working on to become the team we want to be - Early game planning chief among those.
That improvement is still clearly a WIP - We can do many of the fancy things well and make a lot of mistakes on the basics. You can’t have big holes in your gameplay like we do and be a good team.
From here, the boys will be heading to Korea for a March bootcamp to work on our fundamentals - Lot of work to be done to be the team we want to be.
FlyQuest@FlyQuest
Still a lot left to learn, and even more left to leave on the rift. Youngest squad in League will be back in Split 2.
English

@KatarinaNoKami @PapaSmithy Your comments are so unnecessarily cruel. It’s a rebuild roster and expecting them to go top 4 against so many veterans is unfair.
English

@PapaSmithy I wanted to see how Fly was doing so I decided to watch the games live.
This might have been the most soulless team in quite a while. no creativity, no adaptations to enemy.
At least KCB in LEC try to fight back and all in, do something, create something.
Fly is just watching.
