Q: Is there anything you'd like to say to encourage your teammates?
Daeny: "As professionals, it's our job to produce results, especially in the playoffs and at international tournaments. At the same time, I think we've shown real progress.
BLG used to be a team that would always force chaotic fights, but now we're communicating more, trying to create favorable situations together instead of simply skirmishing. I think that's one of the biggest improvements we've made.
That said, when the pressure is at its highest, people naturally fall back on their habits. Looking back, I think I should have made the draft easier for the players or given them a clearer direction.
To be honest, I was mentally exhausted after the previous two matches, so I wasn't in the best condition today either. That's not an excuse, but it did make me reflect on myself. I realized that when the team starts to lose its composure,
I need to step in more decisively and help steady them instead of letting everyone fall back into their usual tendencies.
Even in Game 5, we were debating about Vi and whether to go with Aatrox. But at the end of the day, we lost.
I told the players this: this wasn't just your fault. I wasn't at my best either, and I'm sorry I couldn't keep the team together the way I normally do.
I can't promise we'll always win championships. But my goal has always been to build a team that people can watch and feel, "This team plays beautiful League of Legends."
We'll be shaken for a while, but we'll recover and come back with better performances.
I want to tell the players that this wasn't only their fault. I also lost my composure, and our opponents simply played very well.

@Vedius Specifically for practice, any SRS vocab app or duolingo works fine. I suggest (even really early on) finding a language exchange partner (u help with eng and they help u with kr). Go in with specific goals (ex: today i wanna practce using -한테) so u actually benefit

Knight keeping it real: "Honestly, failure itself isn’t anything too special for me. I’ve probably experienced losses like this many times in international tournaments, so I don’t think I gained some completely new experience from it. I just feel that it’s a shame that we lost.
Going into the next matches, we’ll definitely have more motivation to keep pushing forward. After all, once you’ve already lost, you don’t want to lose again."
One of the most decorated players in LPL history is saying he's used to failure.

Quite possible the best answer I've heard on draft from Daeny:
Q: why didnt you pick/ban Mundo/Swain?
A: If I knew for certain, I would speak much more confidently about the matchups. Still, I also thought banning Yone looked better. To begin with, I don't think top Swain was really the problem.
On the other hand, I want you to imagine Kindred stacks four marks very early. We're playing a professional game, and I'm Trundle. There is simply no way for me to kill Kindred. The only way is to rely on my teammates.
When the game has already reached that point, instead of taking every fight the opponent wants to take, if we had fought only the fights we needed to fight, avoided the others, and traded objectives, I think the game would have been much easier.
Hanwha Life is an aggressive team, but we fought them every time. After Game 1, I felt that if we didn't adjust the tempo, our players would naturally become excited and keep fighting too. So I tried to control the tempo through the draft as much as possible.
Even then, situations outside the norm kept appearing. Even if we had given them Yone, I think we would have run into similar problems. If you asked many League players, very few would choose Dr. Mundo in that situation. I think it was the choice of someone with tremendous courage. I truly believe that. That's something I really came to respect. It made me realize we need to discuss those kinds of possibilities more thoroughly in our draft meetings.

I saw this as a huge blaber fan.... You absolutely would've finished fifth
Marn@marnesports
I know Arsh is meming but anyone genuinely thinking C9 would finish fifth is engagement baiting. We are a much better team and have been all season. Of course I am biased but I still have us making worlds over fly. When we do finally make it I’m going to be fucking unbearable.

@DShyKnock I know a Canadian org with all 7 of their league team contracts ending this year. A fresh canvas for him to paint his own picture
