I lose followers almost every single time I post or comment on anything, whether it's sports, art, politics or puppy videos. Feels so good to not need anything from social media.

This is why - even though the changes they made to the offense over the offseason seem subtle rather than splashy - I really believe this offense is going to be orders of magnitude better than last year. I really do think if the pitching stays healthy the Rangers win the AL West.

@RangersFanCave Love Langford, but if Seager is our MVP we're probably a WS contender. That's how good he is when he's healthy and right. Changes the entire outlook of the team's chances.

@_jivany_ I understand that. But when I think about it, I can only think the pitching should get even better. Evo healthy. deGrom another year removed from TJ. Leiter building off breakout. Gore > Mahle, Rocker > Corbin. And the pen really looks pretty solid (no proper closer, ofc).

@localguy76 Agree. My worry, believe it or not, is the pitching. Can they replicate last year? That's hard to do. If the offense steps up, usually one other part slows down. It's hard to get all 3 parts of the game working well at the same time (offense, SP, bullpen).

That's rough, man. Maybe just move the fences in a touch, rather than beat down your lineup mentally.

Latz to the pen. This bullpen is gonna be a lot better than I initially thought. And knowing we have guys like Peyton Gray, who struck out 18 hitters in 10.2 innings this spring and pitched to a 0.66 WHIP, waiting in the wings, gives me a ton of confidence.

The fact that Skip decided to burn a mound visit just to honor Carter Baumler in front of his teammates, his opponents, and the fans, speaks volumes about the type of leader the Rangers have in the dugout. Exactly the type of guy who could take this team back to the top.

Joc just does not look good to the eye test. You gotta know they're gonna climb the ladder on you after you're late on 93 at the top of the zone. Have to be ready.

What none of these national accounts are reporting is my favorite part: right after this he blew the next hitter away with a heater up and in for the K to end the inning. Absolute cinema.

Gavin Collyer is going to be a big leaguer at some point in 2026. The ride he’s able to generate on his fastball from the arm slot he throws out of is just stunning to watch. Combining that with the velocity he’s able to hit, makes him very impressive to watch. He’s going to start the year in Round Rock to prove he can sustain his improved command he showed this spring, but everything I see when I watch him pitch tells me he’s going to see big league action at some point this year.

@killdevilfalls2 @MLB If they're rule 5, and the team selects them to make the roster, they have to remain on the major league active roster for the entire season, or be offered back to the team you drafted them from. that's why it's a tough decision for a team to add a rule 5 to the roster.
