The NRMP Match Data is out. Honored to be 1 of only 6 Non-U.S. IMGs to match into a PGY-2 Interventional Radiology (Integrated) residency in the 2025 Match. This has to be my greatest professional accomplishment so far. #NRMP #MatchDay2025 #radres

People who Exercise As many of you know, or may not that I have prostate cancer and had it since 2016. I don’t remember anyone telling me this about the importance of exercising after diagnosis, so good job I was already doing it already. #SelfmgtLIVING-Works

Higher leisure-time physical activity (>7.5 MET-h/week) was associated with a lower risk of incident cancer, specifically bladder, cervical and thyroid cancers, over a mean follow-up of 12.4 years. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39453482/

2. Regular exercise. Seyfried emphasizes regular exercise as VITAL for preventing cancer by: • Improving mitochondrial function • Lowering blood sugar and inflammation • Supporting autophagy to clear damaged cells Here are some forms of exercise anyone can do: • Walking • Swimming • Strength training Any form of movement is better than none. Simply moving your body daily is the goal.

Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference
Diet Quality, Dietary Inflammatory Potential, and Risk of Prostate Cancer Grade Reclassification out on @JAMAOnc jamanetwork.com/journals/jamao… Study explores the relationship between diet🍲 and the risk of prostate cancer grade reclassification in 886 men with grade group (GG) 1 #ProstateCancer undergoing active surveillance. The findings showed that higher adherence to the Healthy Eating Index (HEI) and energy-adjusted HEI (E-HEI), which reflect alignment with American 🇺🇸dietary guidelines, was linked to a lower risk of grade reclassification to GG2 or greater, particularly to GG3 or greater, which typically requires curative treatment. Conversely, dietary inflammatory potential, as measured by the Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII), was not significantly associated with grade reclassification risk. This suggests that a healthier diet may help reduce the progression of low-grade prostate cancer.
