I find it quite cute how Scratch's design resembles Rover. A search assistant for Windows XP, that was active in the time in which the circus is based. And also shares a name with a kiddy programming tool.

Maybe, but with how many non-holiday toons he has to keep watch over, he likely doesn't get to them as often as he'd like. No wonder Astro is so tired all the time. Poor guy.

To be honest, I don't know when I'm gonna get started on that. I've been working on some other projects recently in my free time. Hopefully someday, maybe when something big comes out about him.

It's likely Dandy who keeps them out, considering he seems to be the one in control of the elevators. Besides, I don't think the twisteds are smart enough to access the buttons to open them.

Vee thinks very objectively. If you're not good at a skill you've been trying to improve at for years, then in her mind, the best course of action would be to try something new. The problem is that she articulates things horribly and hurts her friends' feelings without realizing.

That's the million dollar question. We're given no information on how Connie transitioned from Halloween to regular toon, nor the effect it had on her since. Maybe next Halloween, though I kind of doubt it.

I noticed that too. It felt like some weird continuity error. Why is Looey straight up lying to Flyte? He has two very talented actors who want to be part of his act, and they don't even count to him?

I'm associated Dandy with things similar. Him being the "child" of Delilah and Arthur, who are basically God to these toons, would give him a Jesus-type association. Perhaps his misery following the ichor operation could be compared to Jesus sacrificing himself for humanity.

@iamtoaster_ Write anyway. If someone gets so mad your free fanfiction mischaracterizes their blorbo they harass you, they clearly have too much time on their hands and shouldn't be listened to.
At most, I'd recommend asking friends to pre-read your fic and give criticism on characterization

@averagefan_2 Shelly is safe. She's not competition. Bassie can falter because Shelly will always be more mediocre than her. It's not something Bassie realizes she's doing, because if she did, the guilt would destroy her. But I think she would internally devalue Shelly as a way to feel better.

I wonder if Bassie subconsciously gravitates to Shelly because she's the only main she doesn't idolize. They're both "defective," which breeds a kinship. If Shelly were an Easter toon, she'd be no threat to her main role

I assume Flutter has tried before, but Flyte wouldn't listen to her, so she called upon someone she knew was close to him. She doesn't seem like the type to have someone else settle her problems unless necessary.
