It pains me how much Bassie seems to idolize Cocoa. As angry as her envy makes her, you can tell that it's fueled by the fact that Bassie truly believes Cocoa is superior to her. She loves her just as much as she hates her.
Bassie is 100% the most tragic character in the game.

I wonder if Bassie subconsciously gravitates to Shelly because she's the only main she doesn't idolize. They're both "defective," which breeds a kinship. If Shelly were an Easter toon, she'd be no threat to her main role

I'm more of a fan of the opposite. I think Shrimpo gets eerily calm around Finn (as calm as Shrimpo can be anyway), which makes him super duper subtle with his affection because he doesn't really know how to show it.

I really wonder how TCOAAL became the face of “romanticized incest” when nothing about it is remotely romanticized. Like. The game continuously shows you that Andrew and Ashleys relationship is not good in the slightest and shouldn’t be taken as normal. 😭

Again, they are portrayed as incredibly abusive and toxic. The chapter 1 climax is even Ashley guilt tripping him because he killed Nina for her.

@averagefan_2 It'd be cool to see more people play around with it from an outsider's perspective, maybe one of the other toons (like Bobette, Ginger, or Shelly) notice how attached the two are, and try to pull them apart for their own good.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people ignore canon dynamics to justify ships. I see this a lot with Rodger and Glisten, where people pretend they don't know each other. I don't like cleancanvas, but Brusha and Tisha's relationship is still integral to both their characters!
