The implied argument is that their obligations within our alliance depend on whether they like the guy we chose as our president. “Sure, we’re allies…if we approve of who you elected.” Nope. We are not going to forget, and we’re not going to forgive. I’m indifferent to their excuses or their rationalizations. The United States of America needed their help and not very much help. They turned us down. That changes everything. And they aren’t going to like how it changes everything.

So let me get this straight. @CENTCOM claims that the F-15E pilot was found, but they had to abandon and destroy two C-130s because they got "stuck." The IRGC says that it hit one C-130 and two Black Hawk helicopters, making them unable to fly. War propaganda at its finest. In any case, the U.S. lost several aircraft in a rescue operation of one man. Why would you not just go home? It will only get worse from here on. @SecWar @VP

This is literally what Trump just told you. The US flew in, built a secret US base, landed 2 C130s ran 35 miles to a distant mountain, rescued a severely injured pilot from the mountain travelling 35 miles back by foot across open plain, while engaged in massive night time fire fight. Tried to take off in 2 c130s that got stuck in airport. Kept battling until more troops came and took them away, then blew up the C130s in air.

Several cases in the Gulf War. The CSAR missions weren't prioritized as a task. The PJs had no dedicated air support assets or refueling, because they were dedicated to other missions. So, when pilots got shot down the PJs couldn't get to them and they were captured. Doesn't look like this campaign staff is messing that up this time.
